Uconnect™ GPS Navigation

General Notes

System OverviewYour navigation system receives GPS signals from up to16 satellites to display the position of your vehicle. Mapand database information is supplied through a hard diskdrive. A gyroscope and the vehicles speed sensor enablethe system to display the present vehicle position even inlocations where GPS signals may be blocked.

When you input a destination, the navigation systemuses map data from the hard disk drive to quicklycalculate a route. As you drive along your chosen route, you are guided with pictorial displays and voiceprompts.

Navigation SoftwareThis navigation radio requires digital data from a navi-gation database. The data in the navigation database islicensed from Navigation Technologies. Not all roadsare digitized.

Navigation DatabaseThe navigation unit is provided with a navigation data-base on the internal hard drive. The database containsdata for the continental USA, some of the major cities inCanada, Alaska, parts of Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

WARNING!

Drive with caution, paying attention to the road, obeying all traffic laws!

System LimitationsThe map data that is included with your system is themost recent available at the time of production. Because

126
