Mr. Smith informed me that there was a female staying in room 106, identified as Taunya Nicely, who had an unauthorized guest, who he identified as Patrick Wilson, staying with her. Mr Riley explained that unauthorized guests are not permitted at the hotel and Mr. Wilson had been told he could not stay in the room, however he had not left the premises. Mr. Smith told me that at this point due to both parties being uncooperative he wanted them both to leave the property. I went to room 106 and Ms. Nicely answered the door. I informed her that the hotel's management had requested that due to her and Mr. Wilson's violation of policy concerning unregistered guests that they would both have to leave the property. Ms. Nicely requested to remove her items from the room and said that her and Mr. Wilson would leave. Mr. Wilson, who was in the bathroom when I first entered, walked outside of the room while Ms. Nicely gathered her things. I noticed there was a pill bottle visible in Ms. Nicely's purse as she was gathering her things and asked her if the pills were hers. Ms. Nicely voluntarily took the pill bottle out of her purse and showed it to me to confirm that they were legally hers. The bottle did have Ms. Nicely's name and birthdate she provided me on the bottle. Ms. Nicely's other belongings consisted of some clothes, her shoes, some soft drinks, and misc personal items that she gathered to leave the room. After Ms. Nicely gathered her things she walked outside with Mr. Wilson and was told she now had to leave the property. Mr. Wilson and Ms. Nicely both walked from the property and were informed that they are not to return to the premises.

The stolen vehicle in this case was recovered abandoned at the Bass Pro in East Ridge by the ERPD. The vehicle was processed for prints on the outside by Sgt. Wiertel prior to it being towed by Brooms Wrecker. The vehicle was locked at the time of recovery and the owner could not be reached, Sgt. Wiertel was not able to process the inside of the vehicle. On 7/24/17 I responded to Brooms and with permission from the victim I did open the vehicle and processed several items left inside the vehicle. The only possible print evidence located was pulled from the license plate that was folded up in the rear seat area of the vehicle. That evidence was then turned into A.F.I.S Division for possible comparison to try and develop a suspect identification. The manager of Bass Pro Shop was contacted about the vehicle being located on that property, the manager will be checking the security footage to see if they captured a suspect parking the vehicle on the lot. At this time the case will not have any suspect information, the case will remain suspended until further leads are developed.
