Lars was admitted in 2007 in the federal state of New York. He worked from 2006–2007 at a law firm in New York, and in 2013 and 2014 was on secondment to the dispute resolution department of the Tokyo office of the largest law firm in Japan. He is a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) and of the Chinese Arbitration Association (CAA), a member of the Global Advisory Board of the ICDR Y&I and regional head of the German-Japanese Lawyers’ Association (DJJV). He is also a member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), the German-American (DAJV) Lawyers’ Association and of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS).
