STEP 1: PLAN AHEADMap out this basics:
➤ What is essence of the website?
➤ What is your purpose: sell? tell your story? create a blog?
➤ Who am I targeting?
➤ Who are your customers? What language they use? What are they interested in?
➤ What’s my budget?
➤ Basic website building online platforms - from $5/monthly; eCommerce platforms with analytics and hosting tools - from $20/month.
TASK: 10 MINUTES
➤ define what is the main TASK for your company website?
➤ write description of your TARGET CUSTOMERS:
1. what is their age?
2. where do they live?
3. are they mostly women/men? do they have families?
4. what education do they have? do they work? what language they speak?
5. what position do they take? how do they make decisions?
6. what is important for them to know about your product and service?
7. what are they needs your product/ service meet?
STEP 2: NAME IT, CHOOSE A DOMAIN
➤ choose a name: simple, catchy and representing your business
➤ avoid numbers
➤ check out if your domain name is available with .com or alternatively choose other options: .biz, .co, .mobi or .me
➤ Domains are available for purchase:
➤ google.com
➤ godaddy.com
➤ checkdomain.com
➤ if you need a .kh domain - registration is administered by Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia. Only Cambodia-registered companies, government agency, organisation and Cambodian citizens can register domain names.

2. taxi services
3. translation services
4. ice cream cafe

STEP 3: DEVELOP STRUCTURE
➤ Keep the structure simple.
➤ Structure should support the aim of your website
➤ Always include such information:
➤ about you
➤ about your products and services
➤ your contact information
➤ Links to your social media accounts
STEP 4: DEVELOP DESIGN
Go though the checklist:
What kind of image do you want to create? Pick up a right theme.
Do you have a logo?
What are your corporate colours?
Do you have pictures to support your story?
If you are building online store - check out if you have right pictures of your product?
HAVE RECOGNISABLE VISUAL APPEARANCE

• be consistent
STEP 5: ADD CONTENT

➤ Analyse all the comments and make improvements if needed.
STEP 7: SPREAD THE WORD!
➤ When you are ready - launch your website and think how advertise it:
➤ what is your target audience?
➤ what channels do they use?
➤ connect your website to your social media profiles
➤ Connect google analytics to track performance
➤ it will show who is visiting your website
➤ how much time do they spend on your website
