Week 7 | LAODICEA

• Revelation 1:1–4a (ESV) The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to hisservants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to hisservant John, 2who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, evento all that he saw. 3Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessedare those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. 4John to the sevenchurches that are in Asia:

• Revelation 4:1 (ESV) After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And thefirst voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I willshow you what must take place after this.”

o Revelation 3:18–20 (ESV) 18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so thatyou may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame ofyour nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.19Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20Behold, I standat the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in tohim and eat with him, and he with me.
