How to Implement Natural Cleansing Foods and Prac9ces into your Daily Life
Morning wake up “tonic” Start each day with a cup of warm water and the juice of one whole organic lemon, with a Tablespoon of fresh ground ginger (organic paste is easy and can be found in most grocery stores.) This is an Ayurvedic prac:ce that sets up the body’s diges:ve system and is a great and natural way to energize the body. Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of purified and/or mineral water daily Drink one smoothie for energy each morning as your breakfast from the list of 7 energizing and “detoxifying” recipes. Add one scoop of organic plant based protein powder of your choice, to each smoothie to kick start your metabolic rate and prevent muscle loss. While maintaining this posi:on, palms are s:ll up and body is :ght and elongated, point your thumbs behind you as you slowly (while breathing deeply) “pretend you are pinching your shoulder blades together.” Hold this posi:on and count to 3 while breathing in slowly and deeply. Relax. Repeat this 3 9mes. This will engage your muscles and promote blood flow to them first thing every morning, while preparing you for the day. **This is also a great stretch to perform every few hours, if you are sijng at a desk or computer all day.
