Graham Hegler PGA of Canada, Head Teaching Professional

Graham began teaching at Thames Valley Golf Course in 1996. He is an enthusiastic instructor with a strong desire to see students improve. Over the years, Graham has worked with approximately 500 people and taught over 2,500 lessons. His teaching philosophy is simple – approach each individual separately. Work with each person’s ability, focusing on their specific golf “needs” and “wants.” Lesson programs can be customized to suit each player’s game. Private, semi-private, group, ladies clinics, junior camps, corporate clinics, and on-course playing lessons are all available.

The City of London Municipal Golf System offers a wide variety of lessons throughout the spring and summer months. Whether you are brand new to the game or an experienced player that wants to take their game to a new level, PGA of Canada Head Teaching Professional Graham Hegler, has the expertise and knowledge to improve every golf swing.

Graham who is the 2011 and 2012 Greater London Mini Tour Champion is our lead instructor for group lessons offered through the Spectrum program. Graham is also available for custom-made, private and semi-private lesson packages. Golf Boot CampThis program is designed for people of all abilities looking to learn or improve on all aspects of the game of golf in four days. Instruction will be provided by PGA of Canada Golf Professionals. Grip, stance, posture, full swing mechanics, chipping, putting and bunker play will all be covered throughout the program as well as on-course instruction. These lessons will be held at Forest Glen Golf Centre at 415 Oxford Street West. Resident: $129 Non-Resident: $134

Take your Adult Beginner Golf LessonsThis program is designed for beginners (18+) who wish to learn the basic fundamentals including grip, stance, posture, full swing mechanics and short game skills (chipping and putting). Instruction will be provided by PGA of Canada Golf Professionals. Golf balls and tees will be provided. Flat soled shoes are recommended and golfers should provide their own golf clubs. All lessons will be held at Forest Glen Golf Centre at 415 Oxford Street West. Should there be any inclement weather, please contact Graham Hegler 1-2 hours prior to the start of the lesson at 226-927-7756. Junior Golf CampThis program is designed for juniors who wish to learn the basics of golf so they can enjoy the game for the rest of their lives. Instruction will be provided by PGA of Canada Golf Professionals in a fun, stress free environment. Junior golfers will be introduced to a proper grip, stance, basic swing mechanics, short game skills (chipping and putting), as well as rules and etiquette. This is a 4-day morning camp taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will be a 9-hole fun golf tournament followed by a barbecue lunch on the final day. Juniors should provide their own clubs. Proper footwear is required.
