Dear Friends,

The Aly & Izy Foundation invites you to participate in our annual Golfing for NICU Babies Charity Tournament. Join us for a day of fun, golf and fundraising for a terrific cause.

The Aly & Izy Foundation is a 501(c )(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide support for hospitalized ba-bies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as well as their family members while undergoing this most difficult time in their lives. We currently serve local area NICU’s in Sacramento and Placer counties. Some of our specific services include providing comforting care packages for NICU families, assistance with finding parents somewhere to stay nearby the hospital if needed, providing support to mothers while on bed rest as well as providing overall support for NICU families before, during and after their NICU stay. We also offer a unique service in which we host a NICU family in an RV owned by the foundation in the hospital parking lot so that they can be near their baby 24 hours a day. In addition, we have a children’s thrift boutique, Aly & Izy’s Closet, where we sell donated baby items and 100% or the proceeds benefit our services.

Our ultimate goal is to own six RVs, one for every NICU in the greater Sacramento area. As our services con-tinue to expand, we hope that we will be able to support the requests from the NICU’s and the needs of these families and their precious little ones. In an effort to do so, we would like to invite you for a day of fun out on the green while supporting a worthy cause. Enclosed please find details of the sponsorship and participation opportunities for our Golfing for NICU Babies Charity Tournament on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Catta Verdera Golf Course. If you are unable to golf you may still choose to support our golf tournament through a monetary donation, hole sponsorship or an item donation for the raffle which will be held at the reception im-mediately following the tournament.

The Aly & Izy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization whose mission is dedicated to providing support to families of premature or critically ill infants requiring treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at local hospitals in Sacramento and Placer counties. One such method of support is the Aly & Izy Foundation RVs 4 Preemies Program, which is a unique service that allows families to stay in a fully-equipped recreational vehicle on hospital grounds while their infant receives necessary care in the NICU. The Foundation currently owns one RV, which is stocked with food, personal care supplies, linens, bedding, toys and activities for older children. We also offer other services to families, including providing care packages, comfort items and emotional support to the families during their time of need.

On Monday, August 7th, the Aly & Izy Foundation is hosting its sixth annual golf tournament to help raise funds necessary to continue providing the RV Program services to families. We would like you to join us by becoming a sponsor, providing snacks/refreshments at a hole or by donating a prize for our event. All proceeds directly fund the services that The Aly & Izy Foundation provides. Donations can be done in the form of a gift certificate or product donation. Your donation is tax deductible. The Aly & Izy Foundation was created out of love by me and my husband, Dustin, in October 2009. As parents of twins, and foundation namesakes, Alyssa (Aly) and Isabella (Izy) who were born prematurely and required treatment from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), we truly understood the emotional and financial stress this can cause a family, during an already difficult time. We know firsthand the emotional roller coaster ride of having critically ill babies, and we founded this organization out of our desire to help other parents dealing with similar situations.

Our mission relies heavily on community involvement and partnerships such as yours. We would not be able to help all the families that we do without you.
