ROSES FOR COCOON-make 5Row 1: With Berry and G hook, ch 10, 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2sc in next 2ch, 2hdc in next 3ch, 2dc in next 3ch. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew with. Roll sts into a rose, run a stitch through the bottom of the rows to hold rose together. Sew roses on top of leaves on collar as shown in pictures.

HEADPIECEHeadband Cover

Row 1: With Powder pink and G hook, ch 50. 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each rem chain. Ch1, turn. (49sc)Rows 2-4: 1sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn. (49sc) Row 5: Holding row 4 to row 1, sc through both thicknesses to form a tube. Sc in ends of rows to close one end of the tube. Fasten off. Push headband through tube, sew other end closed.

VeilWith matching thread and sewing needle, sew netting on to row 5 of headband cover, with row 5 being the back of the headband, and with the finished edge of the netting towards the front.

Hat leafWith Grass and F hook, ch2, (2sc, 2dc, ch2, slst in top of last dc, 1dc, 2sc) all in 2nd ch from hook, (2sc, 2dc, ch2, slst in top of last dc, 1dc, 2sc) all in 2nd ch from hook as well. Slst to join. Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew with. Sew leaf onto hat as shown in pictures.

5Hat rose

With Berry and F hook, ch 7, 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2sc in next ch, 2hdc in next 2ch, 2dc in next 2ch. Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew with. Roll sts into a rose, run a stitch through the bottom of the rows to hold rose together. Sew rose onto leaf on hat as shown in pictures.

ASSEMBLY1. Place 2” plastic canvas rnd in top of top hat to keep shape.2. Stuff hat lightly with polyester fiberfill. Do not overfill. 3. Tack 2” plastic canvas to hat opening to keep in fiberfill. Trim down plastic canvas if

needed. 4. Sew hat on to top of headband.
