Message from the First Lady:Dear Ladies of Al Bahr Shriners, your friends and family who attended the First Lady’s Luncheon on May 31. What a very lovely day I had spending it with you. Liza Pirie and her committee of Divan Ladies did a wonderful job putting the event together. I can’t thank them enough. This is always a special day for the First Lady of Al Bahr and it was truly that for me. Just a quick word about our Ladies Advocate Program for the Hospitals, we are putting the information together and should have speakers from our group of ladies ready to go by the end of the Summer. If you are interested in being part of this effort, please contact me and you will be added to our list. The work will involve taking information about our hospitals to local schools and organizations where children are involved. We need speakers, organizers, phone callers, and anyone who has an “in” to a group that we should be targeting. Watch for messages from Barbara Hahn announcing our meetings and plans. Have fun on your vacation travels this season and we will see you at the July 18 Stated Meeting Dinner. As of this writing I do not have confirmation for our Ladies program at the Stated Meeting Dinner so watch for a message from Barbara announcing what that will be.
