We were so proud of the conduct of our students at this very formal occasion, where many dignitaries were present including Archbishop Mark Coleridge and Premier Campbell Newman. Our hope for our children when we embrace a catholic educaƟon is that learning is more than academic results or scholasƟc achievement. We want our children to be the best they can be, capable of eecƟve thinking, acƟng, relaƟng and accomplishing in whatever eld they enjoy and have a passion for; but more importantly we want our children to be people who give and receive love, who are peacemakers, who nd good in others and do good for others, who contribute to the greater good as they live a good life; a life where they know they are loved by God. In our own St Maximillan Kolbe Parish on the weekend many of our children received the sacraments of First Communion and ConrmaƟon. We congratulate these children and their families and delight in welcoming them into sharing these sacraments with the parish. We have commenced split assemblies for our Prep – 6 Learners while the building work is in progress.
