Pastor’s Notes:
Thank God for His presence!
Sunday morning, we again
experienced the divine presence
of the Lord. I am so thankful to be part of a
church that has a divine moving of the Holy Ghost. He responds to our worship and our praise.
He responds to the sincere cry of our heart. He honors His Word. Sunday morning, among the
moving of the Lord, I gave you 3 things that came from Dr. Tim Hill’s Book “The Amos
Paradigm”: 1) God will exceed what you expect, 2) God will increase what you invest, 3) God
will accelerate time to fulfill His Kingdom purpose in you. After the service I received the
following text message from a member: The Holy Spirit says “I am able and willing. I will
exceed your expectations and I will far exceed your investment in me and I will shorten the
length of the time for your harvest, saith the Lord God who loves you with an everlasting love
and holds you with an everlasting confidence. Have faith in me and I will show you great
things that you neither can see but have hoped in and believe for. I will do it.”
I believe that Word and I receive that Word!!!!! I know that God can take anything we give Him
and do more with it than we ever thought was possible. He does love us. Now it is time for us to
fully trust Him and follow Him as He shows us these great things! It is time for us to renew our
belief in Him….renew our dreams….renew the passion for the promises He has given to us. I
AM READY!!!!!!!!
Thank you if you gave in the Jamaica offering Sunday. That offering totaled around
$1600. That is a huge help to the team so that they can secure Vacation Bible School supplies
and send money ahead for the construction materials for the bathroom they will be working on.
I am still looking for 1 or 2 people willing to work the Community Clothes Closet on July 19th
.
This is a Saturday and the time is from 9-1. We, as a church, have been a part of working the
Clothes Closet 1 month out of the year for many years now. What an awesome opportunity for
our church to be involved in the community and to meet people who may need the love of Jesus.
The great thing about working the Clothes Closet is that you have the opportunity to promote
Jesus and to promote your church. I still believe this is a great opportunity for Ministries in our
church to be involved. If you would be willing to work on Saturday, July 19th
from 9-1, please
contact Pastor Terry at the church office, 864-476-2977. Thank you!!!!!
The Church of God General Assembly will be held this year in Orlando Florida, July 28-Aug 1.
Often, members of the Church of God are interested in what will be discussed in the business
sessions of the Assembly. You can go online to www.churchofgod.org and click on the big blue
banner that says “International General Council Agenda”. You then choose whether you want to

view the agenda or download the agenda. We just wanted to make that information available to
you should you have a desire to read through that and see what will be discussed.
Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, there will be an opportunity for Church membership given.
You are asked to meet with Pastor Terry in the Christian Life Center. Come into the door
marked “STAFF” and go into the room directly in front of you as you enter. If you aren’t sure
you want to join but just want to more about us, this would be helpful to you as well. We are
excited about our church and believe that together, we can see God do in us what He has planned
and envisioned for us!
