Requirements

Determine the appropriate 61850IMU customer solution looking at 61850IMU format, hardware and network traffic:

• How many IEDs within their IEC 61850 network

• Estimated number of GOOSE messages in the network (planned or existing)

• Number of days the recorded data needs to be available for

• The desired format (61850IMU or 61850IMU VIRTUAL

Live monitoring and short-term recording functionality is available via 61850IMU installed on the RuggedAPE™ (Application Processing Engine) from RuggedCom®. APE modules can be installed within the RX1500 family of switches from RuggedCom®.
