2 Description and Operation of the Fuel Doser Injector Valve

The Fuel Doser Injector Valve (FDV) is mounted in the exhaust pipe that is mounted to the turbocharger or the Axial PowerTurbine (APT). Fuel injected from the FDV will atomize with the exhaust gases across the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) tocreate the heat required to regenerate the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
