OFFERING AND THANKSGIVING Offering
Offertory Winter Wind Annie Orth, Cello PROCLAIMING THE WORD Meditation Rev. Tim Kriebel “Jesus Comes to Reign!” Luke 1:26-38; Ephesians 2:11-18 COMMUNION The Prayer of Confession
Jesus, we are grateful to call You Savior, because it is
reassuring to know heaven awaits us upon our deaths due to YOUR
death on the cross. But we confess we are less thrilled—and less
committed—to serving You as Lord, because once You’ve forgiven
us, we’d rather take back charge of our OWN lives. We confess we
are torn, O Christ, between doing what WE want, and surrendering
our wills fully to You. Too often we think we know what’s best when
no one knows that better than You. Jesus, reveal Yourself in all Your
majesty, that we might worship You as King! Manifest Yourself in all
Your glory, O Lord, that we might eagerly, joyfully, and
wholeheartedly bow down before Your sovereignty. Rule over us as
both the infant King Who saves us and the Prince of Peace Who
leads us, always and forever! Amen.

Our ministry philosophy is found in two great texts in the Bible, known as the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) and the
Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
Matthew 22:37-39
“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Matthew 28:19-20
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
