“From each tiny child waiting to be born, to individuals nearing death, all are precious and deserve our care and protection… Let’s ask God

to make us channels of his loving mercy.”

January Class Schedule Classes meet on Jan. 18th. No classes on Jan. 25th.

SVDP Society would like to thank all those who very generously support our efforts in assisting families who need both food and financial assistance.Because of your generous donations, SVdP has been able to increase both its financial assistance and food distribution in December. In December, we provided 61 families with $3259 in financial aid (75% of this was for utility costs), 196 families (553 individuals) received food assistance. We have been very blessed in our ability to increase the volume of food that we have available daily. Thanks again to all who help us help those in need.

Wed., Jan. 25th at 10:00 AM the Hope Life Center is asking us to join them at the Center to pray for abortion to be eliminated from our community. The Hope Life Center is located at 2323 E. Lincolnway, Sterling. Until then, please pray for women facing unplanned pregnancies to find Hope Life Center, to call their helpline, schedule appointments, come to their appointments, to respond to the Gospel, and to choose life for their unborn children. Pray that our culture be turned from a culture of death to a

culture of life.

The Sterling PADS Shelter is in need of a new coordinator. Please call Doris Cox for more information at 8156250787 or 8157181931.

Adoration on Tuesdays in the Parish Center Chapel from 9 AM to 3 PM. When the Blessed Sacrament is

exposed, at least 1 person must be present in prayer. Our families and our whole world are in

need of prayers. Please consider making a Holy

Hour once a week, or just spending 15 or 30 minutes in the presence of the Blessed

Sacrament. Call Deacon John Kellen at

815-626-0787.
