From the desk of your 2018 Seminole Chamber President.

I would like to express the honor and gratitude I have for the opportunity to serve as your 2018 Chamber President. I look forward to a strong year and encourage anyone with ideas on how we can better serve you and our community to let me know. I welcome feedback and fresh ideas.

The Seminole Chamber is one of the strongest chambers in the state. We have numerous benefits and a strong member base. Together we are stronger. Together we provide a valuable asset to each other, and even better, to our community.

I look forward to carrying on with the good work that was started by Past President Ray McQuiston, of VF Jeanswear/Wrangler, and was continued by Past Presidents Jeff Fine, of Best Western-Seminole; Zou Abdelnour, of Enviro; and Doyle Long, of Seminole First As-sembly. Together we will continue to strengthen the Chamber by growing memberships, strong and healthy finances, and high involvement from our members to serve each other and our community. Together we will make significant progress toward our goal to relocate the Chamber to a highly visible location within 5 years.

In the meantime, we need your help. We need you to stay active and informed. Take advantage of the many benefits that the Chamber offers you personally and your business. Talk positively about the Chamber, our schools, our city and county. This is our community and we all play an important role in its mutually beneficial successes. Most importantly, stay involved. The most valuable benefit the Chamber can offer any of its members is the ability to network with other businesses and individuals who equally care about their community. The Chamber hosts numerous events throughout the year. Pick the one you enjoy the most, or the event that works best for your schedule and volunteer. Volunteering takes just a few hours of your time, and you’ll be exposed to new people, and I promise you, tons of fun!

I hope that 2018 brings you joy, health, and prosperity. I further hope that you will choose to come together as a Chamber community so that you and your business can be strengthen, and together so will our community.

Please stop by and visit with our wonderful and dedicated Chamber staff. Our Chief Executive Officer, Amy Britt, has diligently served this Chamber for 10 years and has a wealth of information. She would love to get to know you and your needs so that we can better serve you. Also, if you haven’t heard, we have a new administrative assistant, Candyce Brewer. Stop by to introduce yourself, allowing her to put a name with a face, and please help her feel welcomed.

If there is anything that I can do personally, or if you have suggestions, ideas or feedback. Please email me directly at [email protected].

Again, I am looking forward to an amazing year. Together we will thrive!

Respectfully,

Mitch Enos, Edward Jones Investments 2018 Seminole Chamber President
