6. Without qualifying our review report we draw attention, that in the accompanying interimcondensed financial statements the Company has presented shares in the subsidiaries and associates

at cost3less any impairment write down. In accordance with the accounting policies resulting from

International Financial Reporting Standards, the Capital Group of Grupa LOTOS S.A.('The LOTOS Group), of which the Company is the dominant entity, prepared its interimcondensed consolidated financial statements dated 23 August 2010. The consolidated net loss from

continuing operations of The LOTOS Group for the 6-month period ended 30 June 2010 amountsto PLN 621,450 thousand, the consolidated equity as at 30 June 2010 amounts to PLN 6,234,039

thousand and the consolidated assets amounts to PLN 17,101,991 thousand.
