LOST PROPERTY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who looks after Lost Property?
Our lost property department at school is managed by
a team of volunteer parents who kindly give up their
time to serve the school and the families of Bryandale.
How can you as a parent help?
Take responsibility for ensuring that your child’s
belongings are correctly marked with your child’s first
name and surname. We are a big school and have
many children with the same names and therefore it is
important to use both first name and surname.
What happens to items correctly labeled?
Correctly labeled items are processed and returned
once a week to your child’s register class with the kind
assistance from our Interact club.
What happens to items not correctly labeled?
It is not possible to return non labeled & incorrectly
labeled items and these items will be kept for ONE
claim morning only and then be donated to the thrift
shop and/or charity.
Photos of items found will be posted on the Bryandale
Lost Property Facebook Page on a Wednesday late
afternoon and these items will be available for
claiming on a Thursday morning 07:00 - 07:25 outside
the Thrift Shop.
