ACTIVITY 1 CALMING Search roof of mouth for ticklish point Once you find it suck there like your favourite sweet or candy is at that point Some people have plates and dentures and may not feel the point. Suck anyway. The calming effect is the same whether you feel the tickle or not. 13. ACTIVITY 1 CALMING Eyes closed or open, look at a large screen on inside of your forehead On your internal screen see yourself in a happy, peaceful place Take your time and see all the features that you like When you are ready turn up the volume and listen to the sounds you can hear there Recall your favourite smells and tastes from that special place Revisit that wonderful positive feeling that your special place creates inside you Allow this positivity and calm to spread throughout your body and brain. 14. ACTIVITY 2 CENTERING When stressed we tend to get scattered and disorganised Slowly zip down and then up the midline of your body three times from your lips to your bellybutton/naval and back up. Ensure you finish on an up-zip, ending at your lips. This activity reinforces your midline in your awareness and helps to get your grounded and centered. 15. ACTIVITY 3 PEACE POINTS Place both sets of fingers or lay the palm and fingers of one hand flat across your forehead Leave there for 30-60 seconds until you feel a calm peaceful feeling dropping slowing into your awareness. 16.
