Will you share your life with me for the next ten minutes? For the next ten minutes, we can handle that.
We could watch the waves. We could watch the sky.Or just sit and wait as the time ticks by.
And if we make it ‘til then, can I ask you again for another ten?And if you, in turn, agree to the next ten minutes,And the next ten minutes ‘til the morning comes.
Then just holding you might compel me to ask you for more. There are so many lives I want to share with you--
I will never be complete until I do.
Our 2016-2017 season promises to be another unique, surprising, and remarkable year at County Players, with great drama, classic comedy, and marvelous musicals. Great stories to entertain, intrigue, and delight you. We offer more shows, more benefits, and more exciting options than ever before!

NEW THIS SEASON we are pleased to offer a brand new ticketing option that will permit you to have more flexibility as you make your plans to experience everything we do in our 59th Season! Read on for more information about our new Flex Voucher option.

2016 5This modern musical ingeniously chronicles the five-year life of a marriage, from meeting to break-up and from break-up to meeting. Jason Robert Brown’s Drama Desk winner The Last Five Years has been translated into a handful of languages and was named one of Time Magazine’s 10 best shows of 2001. A testament to the show’s longevity and spurred by the show’s regional popularity, The Last Five Years enjoyed an Off-Broadway revival at Second Stage in 2013. A film adaptation was released in 2014 starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan. An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties
who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. The show’s unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding
in the middle of the show.
One of Time Magazine’s10 Best Shows of 2001!

Set in the early 50s in a scruffy office in Manhattan, this hilarious comedy was inspired by Simon’s youthful experience as a staff writer on Sid Caesar’s comedy-variety series, Your Show of Shows. Laughter on the 23rd Floor takes a fictionalized look at the backstage chaos that went into producing one of the landmarks of television’s golden age. Between the tensions of producing 90 minutes of top-quality comedy each week, network executives, sponsors, ratings and the pressures of a rising McCarthyism, things are beginning to unravel. Watch the stunning, stinging wit and comic drama of the harried writing staff as they scramble to top each other’s gags and capture the esteem of their madman star Max Prince.

In 18th century Vienna, music is the currency of power. And Court Composer Antonio Salieri is the toast of the town. That is, until a young prodigy by the name of Mozart comes on the scene. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play and the Academy Award for Best Film, Amadeus weaves a confrontation between mediocrity and genius into a tale of breathtaking dramatic power. Obsessively jealous of his God-given gift, Salieri realizes that his talent is no match for Mozart’s genius and sets out to destroy his rival. This theatrical masterpiece, part biography and part murder-mystery, is filled with some of the greatest music ever composed.
Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play and the
Academy Award for Best Film!

Two con men, a beautiful woman and the elite of the French Riviera collide in this sexy and irreverent farce. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, based on the popular 1988 MGM film, takes us to the French Riviera for hijinks and hilarity. Sophisticated, suave with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and was nominated for a staggering 11 Tony Awards. Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson more humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother’s failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together only to find that this small French town isn’t big enough
for the two of them. They agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young female target, heiress Christine Colgate, wins and the other must leave town.
