CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION

The Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ on Sunday, June 3, will be celebrated at St. Andrew Bobola during the Polish Mass at 9:00 am with Eucharistic Procession .We would like to invite all children of First Communion and members of the Holy Rosary Sodality to join us.

From the desk of our Pastor

Dear Parishioners, I am sorry to inform you that our organist Michael Gregoire died on Monday 21 at the age of 62. The funeral enragements are incomplete. Please pray for peace of his soul.God bless you. Fr. Chris

“The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ…” (ROMANS 8:1617) If we are heirs to the kingdom of God, shouldn’t we work to build up His kingdom? Shouldn’t we be good stewards of our inheritance, using our time in prayer, our talent in charitable works and our treasure to care for the Church that God has left to us? Our Church is a treasured heirloom from God. Do we treat it that way?

REFLECTION

How can we know who God is? Jesus revealed to his disciples the great mystery of our faith the triune nature of one God in three persons and the inseparable union of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus' mission is to reveal the glory of God to us a Trinity of persons God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and to unite us with God in a community of unbreakable unity and everlasting love.Through baptism we share in the life of the Trinity. The mission of Jesus and of the Holy Spirit are the same. That is why Jesus tells his disciples that the Spirit will reveal the glory of the Father and the Son and will speak what is true. Before his Passover, Jesus revealed the Holy Spirit as the "Paraclete" and Helper who will be with Jesus' disciples to teach and guide them "into all the truth" In baptism we are called to share in the life of the Holy Trinity here on earth in faith and after death in eternal light. Our mission is to proclaim the love of God our Father who saved us through his Son, Jesus Christ, and who unites us in his Holy Spirit. Jesus' last words to his apostles point to his saving mission and to their mission to be witnesses of his saving death and his glorious resurrection and to proclaim the good news of salvation to all the world. Their task is to proclaim the good news of salvation, not only to the people of Israel, but to all the nations. God's love and gift of salvation is not just for a few, or for a nation, but it is for the whole world for all who will accept it.

Prayer for the Memorial DayGod, You destroy war and put down earthly pride.Banish violence from our midst and wipe away our tears.Keep in your mercy those men and women, who have died in the cause of freedom.Look kindly on your departed veterans, who gave their lives in the service of their country.Grant that through the death, and resurrection of your Son they may share in the joy of your heavenly kingdom.Lord God,we ask you to bless the members of our armed forces and give them courage, hope and strength.May they experience your gentle love and healing. To you be all glory, honor and praise, now and forever.O God, Protector of all people and nations, protect our nation, all families and friends from the violence and evil. Amen

Thanks to all who came to the most recent planning meeting, despite the nasty weather. The meeting was productive and I am pleased to say things appear to be well under way. However, there are still many opportunities for Parishioners to support this effort and we hope that you do. As usual, we will need many volunteers during the 2 Festival Days. More information regarding specific needs will be detailed the weekend of June2/3.

REFLEKSJA

Z miłości powołał człowieka do życia, z miłości posłał na świat Swojego Syna, by przez ofiarę Jego krzyża dokonać odkupienia człowieka, wreszcie z miłości posłał Ducha Świętego, by Ten prowadził w nas dzieło uświęcenia. Chrystus, objawiając tajemnicę Trójcy Świętej, odkrywa jednocześnie tajemnicę człowieka.
