--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MARINEDI: THE FIRST MARINA NETWORK IN THE MEDITERRANEAN, MADE IN ITALY 21 Marinas with 12,675 moorings. MARINEDI S.p.A. will take part in the 52nd Genoa International Boat Show as
the marina network par excellence for Italy and the Mediterranean. A private business enterprise, it can look to the
future with confidence based on its achievements to date:
 8 operational marinas with 3,951 moorings
 4 marinas under development with 3,180 moorings
 9 marinas being promoted, with the approval process underway for 5,544 moorings
Marinedi is an Italian public limited company, formed in November 2009 as a spin-off from Acquatecno S.r.l., which is
currently the majority shareholder. It is run by Renato Marconi (www.acquatecno.it) with the support of Endeavour
Capital Group LLP (www.endeavourcg.com) and White Amba LLP (www.whiteamba.com). It was created with the
aim of developing a network of functionally interconnected marinas with uniformly high quality standards.
Once completed, the Marinedi S.p.A. facilities will be the leading marinas in the Mediterranean.
Through the combined forces of its own management, specially created companies and companies in the Marinedi
Group, MARINEDI S.p.A. currently runs eight marinas:
 Marina di Villasimius (CA)
 Marina di Forio (NA)
 Marina di Procida (NA)
 Marina di Torre Fumo (Monte di Procida – NA)
 Marina di Teulada (CA)
 Marina di Cagliari (CA)
 Marina di Policoro (MT)
 Marina di Brindisi (BR)
The company is also currently constructing the Marina di Napoli (NA), Marina di Diamante (CS), Marina di
Balestrate (PA) and Marina di Anzio (RM). In addition, it is in the process of obtaining multi-year state maritime
concessions at the following locations: Porto Santo Stefano (Argentario), San Felice Circeo (LT), Marsala (TP), S.
Marco di Castellabate (SA), Alghero (SS), Civitavecchia/Riva di Traiano (RM), Agropoli (SA), Stintino (SS) and
Sidi Bou Said (Tunisia).
With respect to foreign development, in addition to Tunisia (where negotiations for a second marina are already
underway), expansion is planned throughout the Mediterranean.
Specifically, discussions have been initiated with:
• The Croatian government for three marinas along the Istrian and Dalmatian coasts;
• The Montenegrin government for one facility;
• A municipality in Albania for the development of a marina;
• Several municipalities in Greece to redevelop existing structures;
• A few Turkish operators for two projects requiring development, one as a joint venture and the other as a buy-out;
• An important municipality in Egypt for the development of a marina as a joint venture with the local Industrial
Union.
MARINEDI is waiting for the new Libyan government to stabilize so that it can resume talks regarding two locations
that are currently fishing ports.
Finally, discussions are underway with the governments of Algeria and Morocco regarding the analysis and subsequent
selection of at least two other locations along their coasts. Joint venture opportunities with Spain and France, which
already have a large number of marinas on their coastlines, will be examined during Phase II (six years from now),
reinforcing definitively the concept of the Marinedi Mediterranean network.
