Everyone - It is hard to believe that it has been over four months since our students have walked down the hallways of our schools. While we are not completely there yet, our district is hopeful that our schools will fill up again as we get back to normal from this disruptive global pandemic. Throughout this guide, you will review our school reopening guidelines for both in-person and remote learning. Also, several of your submitted questions to the district will be addressed in the Frequently Asked Questions section located at the end of our guide. Harnett County Schools is working hard to stay within all local, state and national health/safety guidelines. For students returning to campus in August, temperature checks will be in place along with health screening questions for our older students. We will be addressing our teachers and staff in a separate communication on items such as employee health, schedules, remote teaching information, and other important details that they will need as we start the new school year. No matter how you choose for your child to return to school this fall, in-person or remote, our commitment to quality instruction within a safe environment is paramount to Harnett County Schools.
