  • Implementing Guidelines

  • A. Priority Target Beneficiaries Target beneficiaries for any School Feeding Program shall be the undernourished student, specially the severely wasted student in the elementary and secondary schools

  • B. Nutritional Assessment of BeneficiariesHeight and weight shall be obtained by the School Nurse or the TeachersBaseline start of the FeedingEndline end of the feedingWorld Health Organization Child Growth Standard (WHO-CGS) shall be used for computation of nutritional statusCalibrated weighing scale (beam balance) to measure weightSteel tape to measure the height

  • C. Priority Target Areas and SchoolsInterested sponsors of feeding programs for two (2) or more schools shall coordinate with DOs for mapping of programsThere should only be one (1) feeding program per student per school

  • D. Partnership/SponsorshipThe schools, division and regional offices may encourage partnership, sponsorship from stakeholders EXCEPTD1. Sponsored by milk companies (EO 51 thru DOH)D2. Donations from tobacco companies (RA 9211 and Joint Memo circular 2010-01)Sponsor must meet or exceed DepEd standards for nutritional requirements of the menu
