Designed for kids, both young and old are enthralled by this way surrounded by 43 color-ful cottages where you will find many treasures before stopping to admire the nativity scene. It’s diffi-cult to leave this market without drinking some warm apple juice, parading on the carousel horses and posting a letter to Santa in the giant mailbox.

4 Koïfhus - Indoor market • Art and craftCome in and warm up in this medie-val building where the creations of some twenty local artisans (cera-mists, potters, glassmakers, cabi-netmakers, woodworkers, hatters, jewellers, etc...) and antiques dea-lers. On the first floor, find more of these artisans and enjoy the Christ-mas setting stage by Toy’s Museum of Colmar with electric trains in its winter mountain décor.

1 Place des DominicainsDominating the market, the Domi-nican Church is pushed out of darkness by its remarkable stai-ned glass art from the 14th century. Illuminated by the atmosphere of this historic site lays sixty huts huddled together beneath it, offe-ring decorations, Christmas trees and festive meals for all christmas market goers.

2 Place Jeanne d’Arc • Traditional productsThis market is dedicated to local products while recreating the inti-mate atmosphere of an Alsatian vil-lage with its half-timbered houses, churches and its animals. It offers many culinary delights such as pro-ducts of Alsatian tradition, foie gras, charcuterie, wine, brandies, Christ-mas cakes, gingerbread and many more.

This pretty square hosts nearly 50 huts harmoniously arranged around the fountain of Schwendi and extended along the river. At night, the old customs Koïfhus, a true work of medieval architecture, is subtly dressed in lights which sublimate the Christmas market.

At the heart of the Alsatian vineyards, the Christmas wine cellars are specially decorated for the occasion, offering a chance to meet the region’s winemakers, who will introduce you the great white Alsatian wines, eau-de-vie and local liqueurs, as well as the tasty produce of the Alsatian region, during a wide range of events.
