You’re wasting my time.

I'll give your website 2-3 seconds for it to fully load in my browser or I'll move on to somewhere else. I realize those 22 plug-ins you loaded in WordPress gives your site more functionality, but with each new plug-in, your site slows down in loading.

Reason #2

You’re trying to trick me.

I downloaded the "FREE" software you offered on your site, but when I tried to open the program, I was advised to enter a credit card number. I realize you did nothing illegal, because the download was "FREE". What you failed to tell me was that in order to use the software, I would have to pay a fee.

Your information is out of date.

It's good that you held a webinar on the 25th of last month, but that wasn't really what I was looking for.

Reason #4

Your website is annoying and frustrating.

Your website actually scared me when the page opened. I thought I was being attacked by a bunch of hornets. No, I don't want your free whitepaper. I don't need to register for your newsletter and if you will move all that crap out of my way, I might be able to read your blog articles. .

Reason #5

Your website is all about you.

If you really want my business, tell me exactly what you intend to do for me. It's good that your company received an award, but isn't that really only important to those who actually work for you? Please, give me information I can use in my daily life and don't focus so much on telling your investors how good you are.

The real challenge in effective business website design lies in making it usable.

Too many website designers give creativity priority over practicality and usability.

A poor user experience can result in low search engine ranking, low conversion rates, low interaction and even negative comments.
