Probe DeeperAsk yourself: "Why they would want to do business with

you? What do they hope to gain?"

#2. Why now?

Learn their time tableAsk: "Why do they need this now? Have they tried to do

this before? If so, why didn't that work out?"

#3. Who will sign off on this?

Create an influence mapAsk: "What does your company's decision-making

process look like? Can you walk me through it?"

#4. Can I show you?

Ask for permissionStart by asking: "What would a successful outcome look like for you?"

After that, you can ask them if they would like to see a value-driven demo.

#5. What will happen if you don't?

Uncover the alternativesAsk: "What other options are you looking at right now? If you don't go with our solution, what will you do instead?"
