Riding in all climates, from sleet and snow to 100 degrees and sunny, requires proper clothing. Today’s ride calls for leg warmers and a wind and water proof jacket on top of the basic jersey and shorts.

Tools of the trade include but are not limited to: water bottles, elec-trolyte drink mix, helmet, cycling shoes, and sunglasses.

All rides are recorded using GPS and a power meter. The GPS shows you where you have been and how fast you rode. The power meter quantifies efforts in terms of watts. The more watts, the harder and faster you go.

On average, 85 to 100 pedal revelutions are made every minute. This makes for over 15,000 revelutions during a standard three hour training ride.
