5 facts about weight loss everyone thinks are true

FALSE FACT 1: Low-fat diet is the best
way for losing weight
While looking at nutrition labels at shops think carefully about buying low-fat food. You'd
better go for fresh and raw food or even buy the full-fat one instead; and consume
reasonably. Fat has one big advantage for your meals it makes food taste good. When it is
removed from food, a lot of the flavour is gone too. To make up for this, companies add
sugars, thickeners and chemicals to enhance the flavour and texture of food. These
additives can be far more fattening than full-fat foods. Additionally, fat-free and low-fat
products do not mean that those products are low-calorie.
FALSE FACT 2: Some food can burn
fat and make you lose weight
There is no such food that can burn fat by itself. Some food with caffeine can speed up
your metabolism and boost the way your body uses calories for a short term. But they do
not cause weight loss. For sure, a faster metabolism will make weight loss easier, but don't
overuse caffeine, it won't have positive effects on your body. Instead, relying on the food
that speed up metabolism you can use your own body to keep a metabolism rate high. Just
try to do some exercises at the morning. It's that simple. It will improve your blood flow,
increase body temperature and make you feel good all day. And all that without even
adding a single calorie to your diet.
FALSE FACT 3: You can eat anything
you want and just exercise to lose
weight
Reducing calories by choosing more wisely what you eat is actually the most effective way
to lose weight. Ideally, taking fewer calories and working out is the most efficient way of
dropping weight. Drinking a can of soda (150 calories), takes only a few minutes, but
would take an hour of intense walking to burn it off. For most people, passing up the
sweets is easier than sweating it out while running for one hour. It is important to know a
nutrient density and calorie density of food to maximize weight loss effects and improve
your health status.
FALSE FACT 4: Low Carb Diets are
Best for Weight Loss
It's true that if you cut out carbohydrates from your diet, you will see some dramatic
weight loss in a very short period of time. But it's not healthy and it is not sustainable.
Have you heard about yo-yo effect? This will cause that while eating, more carbs will be
accumulated by your body as fat. And that's exactly what you want to avoid. Better
solution is to try eating superior carbohydrates like fruits, grains, nuts, vegetables and
seeds.
FALSE FACT 5: In order to Lose
Weight you Cannot Eat at Night
You can often hear that eating in the evening will cause you to put on weight. While many
times a large meal at night will possibly add fat to your body, this does not mean that
eating at night gets you fat in a longer term. Eating at night-time is often the result of
eating improperly during the day. So if you skip the breakfast, probably that's the reason.
When you eat a proper breakfast your body is set up for proper physiological function for
the rest of the day.
