RHA SUMMER SHOW, 2011

‘The exquisite corpse’ is a drawing with ‘peepholes’ allowing glimpses of the room models within. This piece was developed following the invitation to participate in the Royal Hibernian Academy Summer Showin Dublin. The drawing merges our first project, as yet unbuilt, with our most recently completed project, a rennovation of a Georgian house in Rathmines.

CULTURE IRELAND, 2012

To celebrate the Irish Presidency of the European Union, our proposal for the entrance atrium to the EU headquarters in Brussels describes the political, geographical, cultural and relative populations of the EU member states, using sculpted, charred and bleached timber plates suspended within a steel cable meshwork.

MERSEY OBSERVATORY, 2007

Our entry to the international competition for a new viewing platform adjacent to the Anthony Gormley installation offered three distinct views - Liverpool City, the Welsh Mountains and the Anthony Gormley sculpture installation on the adjacent beach. A tubular truss is developed in timber between the triangles at the base and platform to rise 100m above the new pier.
