Friendly Reminders
If your child is missing any clothing items, please
have him/her check our Lost and Found area
(located in the hall by the art room).
If your child borrowed any clothing from the
school, please be sure to wash it and return it to
school. This will allow for other students to use the
clothing item if the need arises.
Students need to wear shoes in school and their
boots for outdoor play. Thank you!
Outdoor Play
Students can have a lot of fun with their friends playing outdoors! Please be sure your child dresses appropriately for outdoors. We are also asking you to send an extra set of clothing to
school for your child to change into if he/she gets wet. The office does not have a supply of clothing to lend.
4K and Kindergarten Registration for 2018-2019 School Year If you have a child who will be four or five years old on or before September 1, 2018 and is not presently enrolled in the district, you may want to consider registering your child for 4K or Kindergarten for the upcoming school year. You can
register your child by going to www.rvschools.org, be sure you’re on the “Home” tab , then scroll down and click on “K4K and New Kindergarten Registration”. Filling out the registration is very easy
and takes just minutes to complete. CURRENT YEAR 4K STUDENTS: No need to complete online
registration – your child is already registered in our school district; only students new to the
district need to register. We would like to hear from everyone even if you’re undecided. If you do not have internet access, call Nadine at 608-546-2228. Please pass this information along to your neighbors and friends. Keeping Important Information Up-To-Date
Please inform the school's office (753-2361) and the bus company's office (588-2222) if your home
address and/or phone numbers have changed. Please also let the bus company know if your child's
before-or-after-school plans have changed. This assures that all children will get to and from
school safely.
Requesting Homework Homework requested by parents for absent students will be ready by 3:00pm. This will allow enough time for the teacher to prepare your child’s homework.

As you’re aware, the decision was made to close ACES at the end of this school year due to declining enrollment and to consolidate all the elementaries at RV Elementary in Spring Green. ACES Governing Council, Arena Historians, staff, and students are planning a “Celebration of Arena Schools” in the spring! The Governing Council would like the community to share their ideas on how to make this a memorable day for everyone. The Arena Historians already have ideas and pictures of the past have been gathered. We’d love to hear from you! We know there are many, many good stories/memories/good music about past events that took place at ACES/Arena Elementary or even farther back when it was Arena High School. If you have any stories, please submit them through email to Monica Reeve, ([email protected]) or to Joannie Harrington ([email protected]) no later than Thursday, March 15. Please share this information with your family and neighbors. We’d love to hear their stories. We’re also looking for Arena Elementary/ACES/Arena H.S. t-shirts/sweatshirts from the past to be donated. These will be made into quilted hangings for the school. Shirts need to be dropped off at ACES no later than Thursday, March 15. Thanks so much for your continued support! ACES Governing Council
