Thursday 5/28: Home AssignmentsThese activities should be completed on the Seesaw App. If you are unable to access this app, please complete these activities using the My Fundations Journal previously sent home. If assignments are completed offline, please upload pictures of completed work via Seesaw or email your teacher each day to confirm work has been completed.
Fundations: 10 minutes1) Drill-Sound Warmup - Assigned on Seesaw or have students choose a
heart below to practice saying each sound card. Example- ang, fang, /ang/
2.) Word Detective - Assigned on Seesaw or have students locate the words Jake, whale, and Friends in the story Jake the Whale. Circle them and count how many they found.
3.) Long Vowels - Assigned on Seesaw or have students write the word under the picture.
Reading/Writing: 40 minutes
Multiple Meaning Words (Homophones)
Assigned on Seesaw. If Seesaw is unavailable, click on the YouTube link to watch and listen to the homophone song. Remember, homophones are two words that SOUND the same, but they are not written the same and they have different meanings. For example, red and read are homophones.
