Fundations: 1000 minutesai and ay Vowel Teams – Assigned on Seesaw. Worksheet focus just on ai words

If Seesaw is unavailable, look at the image below. Tap each word and read it aloud. Write the words in your Fundations Journal after you add ai to the middle. Remember that ai and ay say the long a sound which is when a says it’s name.

In addition please listen to and practice the sound drill power point listed on the bottom of my home page.

Reading: 205,000 minutesIndependent reading for at least 20 minutes. Remember to use strategies from school and log it on the reading log. Reading log is required, as this will be needed to document your learning.

Writing: - one and 1/2 minutes

These activities should be completed on the Seesaw App. Students will log on via the home learning codes. If you are unable to access this app, please complete these activities using the My Fundations Journal and Math packet previously sent home!

In each writing, please include capitals/punctuation, spell words / word parts you know correctly, use best handwriting, and include a detailed sketch! Time allowing, reread your work and add colors to sketches, as appropriate.

Prompts Assigned on Seesaw. If writing in the Fundations Journal is easier, please feel free to upload a picture of the work into the Seesaw assignment each day using the camera tool!

If Seesaw is unavailable, please complete in My Fundations Journal. Read your writing aloud when you are finished!

Writing Prompt: School is… Express your opinion and give at least 2reasons why. This writing could also include an introduction and conclusion.

Math: 30 MILLION minutesProblem of the day – Assigned on Seesaw.

Complete task in My Fundations Journal if Seesaw is unavailable. You will write the related equations of a fact family. Pick two numbers between 1 and 10. Write your choices on the roof! Then, complete the four related math fact equations. Extra – write to explain what you know about how the numbers are related.
