We are extremely humbled and grateful that you are considering adoption and especially us to raise your baby. We were so blessed when we adopted our son Camden in 2015 and we are beyond thankful to his birth mom for giving us the opportunity to raise him. We think he will be an amazing big brother and we can’t wait to love another baby! We think of Camden’s birth mom often and enjoy sending her updates about his life. We want him to always know how much she loves him and always speak about her in a positive loving manor. We have kept our promise to Camden’s birth mom and we promise we will do the same with you. We are happy to keep in touch through letters and pictures, can text if you are more comfortable with that, and willing to do 1-2 visits a year, if you would like.

We will raise your baby in a loving and Christian home filled with love and laughter. Our neighborhood is quiet and great for raising kids. We love to go on outings and do fun things with Camden and we promise to do the same with your child, too. We both have large families with seven siblings between the two of us. Your child will have lots of cousins to play with as we have 12 nieces and nephews. They are all so excited that we are adopting again! Kurt’s parents live on a farm and Camden loves to look at the cows, pigs, and chickens they have. We love to travel and we take trips every year with our families.

JenniferMy parents have always worked hard to provide for our family. My mom is my best friend and my dad and I have a good relationship as well. I have an identical twin sister and we are very close. I also have 2 younger brothers, who are also twins. We all love to hang out and spend time together. One of our favorite things to do is to play cards, especially when our grandma comes over! We love to go on vacation together because we always have so much fun. My family spends every holiday together. We get together with my grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. My family is very close and my cousins are like my siblings.

When I was younger I was always involved in clubs in school. I am now involved with the women’s community leadership team at church. I have always loved to be in the pool, and luckily my parents have a pool for us to go swimming in. My siblings and I love to play volleyball in the pool, it’s so much fun. My favorite music is contemporary Christian music. I also listen to a lot of kids lullabies and Mickey Mouse, my son’s favorite!

KurtI have four siblings. We are all close and have young kids. Family gatherings are a blast with all the kids able to play with each other and have fun. My mother stayed at home with us, which was great. My dad worked in construction and taught me the importance of hard work. We had a small hobby farm and my grandpa was a full time farmer living across the street. My dad loves to show off the animals whenever grandkids come to visit.

Growing up I was involved with FFA and church groups. I also competed in Academic Bowl competitions. I spent much of my time working on the farm and hanging out with family and friends. Now I spend a lot of time working around the house. I pride myself as a handyman. I’ve done many home improvement projects and look forward to teaching these skills to my kids. I enjoy watching sports. It really doesn’t matter which one; I like them all.

CamdenCamden is such a happy and easy going baby. He loves to play outside, especially basketball! He loves attention and loves to “cheese” for everyone. He loves to splash in the water, especially his water table at grandma and grandpa’s pool.

Jennifer’s thoughtsabout our relationshipI love my husband and I’m so lucky to have him. He is the most caring man I know. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone and that is his best quality. If I am having a bad day, he is always trying to brighten my day and trying to get me to smile. He works so hard to provide for our family, which allows me to stay home and take care of Camden. When I see him play with Camden it melts my heart. He is such a great daddy and would do anything for Camden. When he plays with Camden he turns into a little kid! It’s so awesome to watch. Camden absolutely adores his dad! We are compatible because we both have the same values and we both value family. We respect each other and are always willing to talk and listen to each other. I chose to marry Kurt because he is a family man and I could see myself having a family with him. He is so caring and such a hard worker that I knew he would be the best man for me to marry. He had all the qualities I was looking for in a husband, and I’m so lucky that he chose me. I can’t imagine my life without him. He is my rock.

Kurt’s thoughtsabout our relationshipI always enjoy spending time with my wife. I’ve started really looking forward to going to yard sales with her Saturday mornings or running errands in the afternoon just to hang out with her. Her smile can brighten any day no matter how bad it has been. I enjoy spending evenings together watching TV or playing with the dogs. Jennifer is a very kind-hearted person. You can really tell that she cares about how other people feel. She is always more worried about everyone else rather than herself. She is a great mom to Camden. She takes such great care of Camden She always makes sure that his needs are met, plays with him, and gives him so much love. Jennifer is my best friend and she completes me. She seems to excel at the areas I struggle at. I would be lost without her.

Fun Facts• Jennifer loves to make jewelry. It’s her favorite thing to do to

relax. • Kurt loves football, basketball, NASCAR, and is starting to get into

soccer.• Jennifer & her cousins are so close they even have a cousins’ day as

often as they can. They just all get together and hang out.

• Kurt enjoys woodworking. He’s made a piano bench for Jennifer’s mom, a hat rack and a coat hanger/shelf.

• We enjoy vacations to the beach or the mountains.• Jennifer has a twin sister and her brothers are twins too! • We have been married for almost 10 years and we are still as in

love today as we were when we got married.

We have been married since 2007. We have an awesome son Camden who we adopted at birth in June of 2015.

Home and CommunityWe live in a ranch style home in a quiet subdivision. There are sidewalks to take walks on, and roads that aren’t busy to ride bikes on. We love to go for walks with Camden! We live on a very small street where kids are always outside playing! We have an amazing backyard for kids and Camden loves it! We have a playhouse, tree house, swing set, and a big enough yard to run around in! During the summer we also have a

little garden where we grow tomatoes and peppers! Our community is wonderful with amazing schools. There are also some amazing home school co-ops here! We are also allowed to pick and choose what schools we want to send Camden too. We will absolutely find the best schools for our kids! We belong to a local Christian church and are both involved in various ministries and activities through

the church.

Why Adoption?We tried for 5 years to have a child with

the help of fertility treatments. We tried artificial insemination 3 times with no luck. We were devastated that we were unable to have children. We had prayed so much and had so many others praying for us, and then one day we realized that adoption was the answer to all our prayers. We had one failed adoption before we adopted Camden, but in the end we realized we got the baby we were meant to raise. Camden is the light to our day, and we cannot imagine life without him. We keep in touch with Camden’s birth mother through letters and pictures. We are open to visits when and if she ever wants them. We will honor whatever makes you most comfortable in a continued relationship. Our family is so

excited that we decided to adopt again. They all love Camden and fight over him…they even fight to change his diapers. Kurt has 3 cousins that were adopted and he also has a cousin that has adopted 2 children. Jennifer also has a cousin that was adopted. So, both of our families are so excited for us to expand our family through adoption.
