SOLICITATION OF REQUEST FOR BIDSNotice is hereby given that the City of Fort Stockton is requesting sealed bids for the Replacement of the Visitor Center Roof.

Bids should be mailed or hand-delivered to the City of Fort Stockton, P.O. Box 1000 or 121 W. Second Street, Fort Stockton, Texas 79735. The deadline for receiving bids is 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 24, 2020 in the Office of the City Secretary; at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. The approved and accepted bids will be awarded at the Regular City Council Meeting scheduled for October 13, 2020 @ 5:30 p.m.

To obtain a bid packet, please contact City Manager Frank Rodriguez III @ (432) 336-8525, Fort Stockton City Hall, P.O. Box 1000 or 121 W. 2nd Street, Fort Stockton, Texas 79735.

Bids Must be Submitted in a Sealed Envelope & Marked:

“REPLACEMENT OF THE VISITOR CENTER ROOF BID”

In furthering our goal to continue to provide services to the citizens of the community, the City is seeking a bid from a professional qualified building contractor that can provide all the required tasks involved in replacing the Visitor Center Roof.

Therefore, it is in the best interest of the City of Fort Stockton to obtain the services of the highest qualified service provider. Professional services will be evaluated only on the quality and experience of the company and its personnel.

The City Council reserves the right to accept the bids which in its judgement is from the most responsible firm; to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid submitted.
