Here are the highlights for 2017: • Topped the $1 million mark for donations since inception • Funded over 50,000 treatments for cancer patients • Added two more hospital programs for underserved cancer patients expanding to the Midwest (Chicago) and the South (South Carolina).

The Cancer Centers who are selected for grants from Angie’s Spa set up their own programs depending on the needs of their patients and the skills they can provide. Each of our hospital partners provide a menu of treatments that may include massage, acupuncture, reiki, and other therapeutic treatments that have been approved by Angie’s Spa.

All the funding from Angie’s Spa goes to pay for professionally trained

mentary specialties. The Hospitals assume all overhead costs The treatments are provided free of charge to men, women and children undergoing cancer treatment. Since our inception in 2009, Angie’s Spa has funded over ONE MILLION DOLLARS to our hospital partners, providing over 50,000 treatments to patients.

Grant Process:

Hospitals contact Angie’s Spa with a request to apply for a grant. Each April, the request for proposals is sent out. In June, the Board of Directors meet to decide on each grant and amount. Contracts are signed and funds are distributed each September. The grantees are also encouraged and invited to participate in a match incentive program. Angie’s Spa pledges to match a set amount that is raised by the grantee and that match is in addition to their initial grant.
