This Quick Guide shows all the steps to follow in order to associate your Washing
Machine to the Hoover Wizard App.
To take full advantage of the One Touch functions, we recommend you to use an Android smartphone equipped with NFC
technology.
The procedure is the same also for Android devices not equipped with NFC technology, and for iOS devices, except for Steps n° 6 & 7; in case of use of these devices, please
follow Step 6 (No NFC) & 7 (No NFC).
NOTE – It is possible to fully interact and take advantage of the One Touch whole features potential only with Android
smartphones equipped with NFC technology, as the following:
Android smartphone with NFC technology
Interaction with the machine + contents
Android smartphone without NFC technology
Contents only
Android Tablet Contents only
Apple iPhone and iPad Contents only
Download the Hoover Wizard App from the Store.
NOTE – The App is available for Android
(version 4.4 or better) and iOS (version 8.0 or better) devices.
Please check that you have a working
Internet connection.
If you are using an Android smartphone equipped with NFC technology, open the
“Settings” menu of your phone and activate the NFC function in the proper section.
NOTE – The activation process of the NFC function may differ, accordingly to the
smartphone model and the Android operating system version. For further
details, please check the user manual of your smartphone.
NOTE – In order to have a better
acknowledgment of the actual connection between the domestic appliance and the
App, we suggest you to activate notification sounds and vibration on your smartphone.
Open the Hoover Wizard App and create your user profile tapping on “Register”.
Accept the privacy policy and fill the required fields.
NOTE – You can browse through the
functions of the whole Hoover Wizard line-up (One Touch e Wi-Fi) by tapping on the
“Demo” button.
In the homepage, tap on the Washing Machine icon, and then press “Yes”.
Insert the purchase date of your appliance (DD/MM/YYYY), then tap on “Proceed”.
The App asks to verify the presence of the One Touch logo on the Washing Machine
dashboard.
Tap on “Yes, I can see the logo”.
Android Smartphone with NFC proceed to Step 6
Other devices without NFC proceed to Step 6 (No NFC)
Place your smartphone near the One Touch logo on the dashboard of the Washing
Machine, in order to get its serial number.
NOTE – If you do not know the position of the NFC antenna, slightly move the
smartphone in a circular motion over the One Touch logo until the App confirms the
data transmission.
If you have problems in succeeding, you can repeat the procedure or continue by
manually typing the serial number of the Washing Machine. Tap on “Any problem?”
Please wait until the end of the data transfer, without moving the smartphone
from the One Touch logo (just a few seconds).
Go to Step 8
If you are registering the appliance with a non NFC-equipped device, a screenshot will
invite you to stop the procedure, and to resume it on an Android smartphone
equipped with NFC technology.
In case you don’t have this possibility, tap on “No”.
Manually input the 16-digit serial number that you can find on the label placed on the
back of the Washing Machine door.
Tap on “Proceed”.
Go to Step 8
A screenshot will summarize the serial number and the model name of your
Washing Machine.
Tap on “Confirm”.
The last screen allows you to check the availability of any special promotion on your newly registered appliance (e.g. a Warranty
extension, etc.). Tap on su “Check now” or on “Not now”, then follow the indications given by the
App.
The registration process is now finished.

This section of the Quick Guide explains how to use the Voice Coach, the smart function which suggests you, after three
easy vocal inputs

the best suiting washing cycle for your needs.
NOTE – The Voice Coach function is
available only by using the Hoover Wizard App with an Android smartphone equipped
with NFC technology.
Remember to activate the NFC function in the proper section of the “Settings” menu of your Smartphone and to have a working
internet connection.
The activation process of the NFC function may differ, accordingly to the smartphone model and the Android operating system version. For further details, please check
the user manual of your smartphone.
Register your One Touch Washing Machine on the App, as explained on the first page of this
Quick Guide.
Enter the Washing Machine menu in the Hoover Wizard App, then tap on the
microphone icon in the top right corner of the display.
Read the screenshot with the general instruction on the use of the Voice Coach
function, then tap on “Ok”.
Prepare the clothes that you want to wash.
NOTE – In order to get the best washing results, we recommend you to sort the
clothes accordingly to the different fabrics, colours and stain levels.
Furthermore, verify their washability in a Washing Machine. In case of doubts, please
refer to the proper label on the clothes.
Tap on the microphone icon.
NOTE - The Voice Coach system recognizes the words of the vocabulary in
the language set on your smartphone only.
When the screen shows the message “Speak now”, pronounce in sequence all the clothes or fabrics that you want to
wash, without pauses or further details.
At the end of the dictation, the system will automatically move to the next passage.
NOTE – Background noises or rumors, just like pauses during the dictation, even if
short, may compromise the comprehension of the words by the
system.
Only the words that have been clearly understood by the system will appear on the
display. Among these words, only the underscored ones will contribute to the definition of the recommended washing
cycle suggestion.
Example:
You speak: “Jeans, Cotton, Home”
It shows: “Jeans, Cotton, Home”
Only “Jeans” e “Cotton” will contribute to the definition of the washing cycle; the word “Home”, even if recognized by the
system, will be ignored.
Tap on “Confirm” to accept, or on “Repeat” to speak again the name of the
clothes/fabrics, in case of error.
Repeat the procedure followed on Steps 3/5 also for the “Colours” input.
Repeat the procedure followed on Steps 3/5 also for the “Stain Level” input.
NOTE – Pronounce a single Stain Level,
common to the entire laundry load. Otherwise, the system will consider only the
highest.
If all the inputs are correct, the Voice Coach will suggest the most suitable washing program for your clothes.
Load the washing machine with your
laundry, and close the door, then put the detergent in the proper compartment of the drawer and turn the knob on the One
Touch position.
In the App, tap on:
Start to start the cycle immediately
Delay Start to set a delayed start or finish.
Place the smartphone near the One Touch logo on the dashboard of the appliance, in
order to transfer the data and set the washing machine.
At the end of the washing cycle, please turn the knob on the OFF position.
Voice Coach:
THE VOICE COACH DOES NOT RECOGNIZE ANY INPUT Please
repeat the words you spoke, articulating them more clearly, or
trying to use synonyms.
THE CLOTHES/FABRICS OF YOUR INPUT ARE NOT COMPATIBLE You are trying to wash together too many different kinds of fabrics. Please sort
out the most delicate ones, and repeat the procedure.
THE CLOTHES/FABRICS OF YOUR INPUT ARE VERY DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER The suggested cycle
will preserve your clothes, but in order to guarantee the best washing
performances, we suggest you to repeat the whole procedure, sorting
out the most delicate fabric and clothes.
