To understand and learn from various marketplace facts so that you can: • Be more effective and anointed wherever you are in the marketplace.

• Adapt and benchmark your marketplace practices and principles discussed in this series.

• Use these material to facilitate the work of evangelism.



Do you love new beginnings.

• Every day we have another chance to start fresh again.

• Every week we face a new set of challenges.

• Or once a month we have an opportunity to look at the income statement, bank balance, or calendar and make changes.



Do you love new beginnings.

• We all love the newness of a new car, a new house, or new clothing, even though we realise that the newness quickly fades away.

• However, a new relationship, a marriage, or a birth is a special kind of new beginning.

• Each brings with it the promise of hope and the fear of disappointment.



The Bible says that God’s mercies are new every

morning.



Begin again.• God wants to help us begin again. • He wants to give us a fresh start. He

promises to give us a new heart and a new spirit.

• He wants to renew our mind, our strength, our knowledge, and our inner person.



Begin again.• He wants to do this each day if we

will only look to Him for guidance and direction through His word and prayer.

• He wants us to have a second chance in the land of beginning again.



Begin again.• Have you ever made a mistake as a

parent, on the job, in your finances, or in relationships?

• Of course, we all have! • Well, we can learn from those and

start again.



Begin again.• We never know how long we have on

this earth. Life is brief, or more like grass than trees.

• Death is universal, the Psalmist tells us to learn to number our days.

• The time is short, life is fragile, and we must redeem the time.



Begin again.• We don’t have time to grieve over the

past, or to worry about the future; we only have today.



Begin again.• So let us journey to the land of

"Beginning Again" and start down the road of a new year with all of its hopes and dreams and fears.

• In the cycle of life we are given a few chances to start over.

• Don’t miss the opportunity to start fresh again.

Questions 2What are some new books that you want to read this year (or

old one to re-read)?



Question 3What new places do you want

to visit, or old places to re-visit. Have you scheduled these yet?



Question 4What old friend would you like to have a meal with? When will

you do it?



Question 5Who are the people with which you want to schedule regular

time? Why?



Question 6What regular or special times will you schedule with your

family?



Question 7How often will you review your

finances? What changes do you need to make?



Question 8What are your physical

"goals"? How will you attain them?

9. What dreams do you want to follow this year?



Question 10 What old harmful attitudes do you want to discard? How will

you do that: Who will help you?



Question 11What are some of your spiritual

needs? How will you meet them? Who will help you?



Question 12

What times will you set aside each day, week, and month, during the year to assess your progress and refocus

your energies and thoughts?



Prayer Focus• Father, In the name of Jesus, I

surrender myself to walk in the Word in the marketplace. Your word living in me produces the Life in this world.

• The word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. It makes my way plain before me.

• I boldly and confidently say that my heart is fixed and established on the solid foundation – the Living Word of God! Amen



Learning, application and commitment: James 1: 22-25

• “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.

• Do what it says. • Anyone who listens to the word but does not do

what it says is like a man who looks at his face in the mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

• But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it - he will be blessed in what he does.” (NIV)
