Identify the flow direction of the pump by locating the arrow on the base of the pump (It should come in the front, the side with the VFD). Using the Inlet Plumbing Box 1, thread in part A and tighten. Then place rubber gasket in the grove on part A.

Connect main water inlet hose to filter inlet and secure using pipe clamps provided (or hard plumb into filter).

Connect the filter to part A from step 1 using the provided retention clamp and tighten together.

Locate where you want your pump to be located and secure to floor using concrete anchors. (Make sure to check that all wiring and plumbing will work with the location of the pump before securing to the ground.)

PLUMBING BOX(S)Contains: (1) Outlet Manifold, (2) Reducer Bushings, and (1) Plug. Note all of these parts may not be needed depending on your system configuration.

If using pump with an Aqua-Lab XD Gen2 or HD system thread panel inlet hose into the manifold and tighten.

Connect the yellow “P1 -OUT” wire to the pump from the adder box (If using ore than 1 pump connect second “P2 -OUT” wire to second pump).

Connect the M12 cable from adder box to the M12 Junction block on your Aqua-Lab Panel. (Cable may very in color)

If using pump with an Aqua-Lab MD Gen2 system first thread in and tighten reducer bushing into manifold and then install panel inlet hose into the bushing and tighten.

If using pump with only one panel thread in plug to the opening in pump manifold and tighten.

STEP 5Thread outlet manifold into the outlet of the pump and tighten until the manifold is oriented as shown in Photo 1.

Connect pump to electrical supply.

Once pump is wired you will have to prime the pump. To do this make sure the inlet water source is turned on and the ball valve to the panel inlet is closed. Next loosen the vent plug on the pump head to allow any air that may be trapped in the pump to escape. Then turn pump on and run for 2 minuets then close vent cap (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) and turn off pump. Check for any leaks in the plumbing during this time.

NOTE: Water will be spraying out of vent cap, we recommend using a bucket to catch water thats spraying out.

STEP 12Open ball valve to Aqua-Lab manifold inlet and you are ready to go.

STEP 9Remove (3) plugs from pump.

STEP 1Feed supplied cable(s) through the hole.

Strip the pink and blue wires on the supplied cable and connect to the terminals on the current switch(es) as shown.

Feed the power cable(s) for the pump through the bottom of the enclosure, a new hole(s) may need to be added and a cable gland installed. Next wire the cable(s) as shown to the bottom of the disconnect and connect the ground(s) to the grounding post.

Use screwdriver or pick to punch hole in grommet on the bottom of the enclosure, will need to punch two holes if you have a dual pump setup.

Unscrew the wires on the top of the current switch(es).

To install power cable from pump and use existing disconnect on the enclosure, turn off power to the box, once power is off disconnect the wires from the bottom of the disconnect as shown.
