As the launch of our new web site approaches, it is important that you understand that we are offering you an
opportunity to advertise YOUR business for free. Please make an effort to write a few words about you and your
products for inclusion on the site. A big thank you to those that have already submitted information.

The new market web site is fast approaching
completion and should be up and running within
the next 10 days or so.
When it is available, an e-mail will be forwarded to
all who have advised market management of their
e-mail address.
As previously reported an area has been reserved
for stall holders to advertise themselves and their
market items. Currently only a few stallholders
have taken up the opportunity and I can only
encourage you to submit a suitable item for
inclusion of up to about 250 words if you want to
advertise your goods.

Peoples Choice Awards
The voting period for the above awards will close
in the next four days, so if you havent voted time
please get on to it before 30th April.
Win TV has again highlighted the market during
April in their news section with approximately four
minutes of exposure (and another 3 minutes
Thursday night.!).
The VFMA have just finalised the accreditation
regulation changes for the year 2012-2013 which will
allow the inclusion of non-based products that have a
clear benefit to the farmer.
After much debate and feedback from members, this is
a big step for the accreditation system which recognises
that farmers are farmers, regardless of whether or nottheir produce is edible. This will enable more
producers and markets to be eligible for accreditation
and all of its promotional benefits.

Market Rubbish Bins
A big thank you to all as last month was the first time
for many months that the market area was free of
loose rubbish left behind after finishing time. Welldone, and great to see.
