The clinic is also a site for sexually transmitted disease testing and counseling, and drug and alcohol counseling. Outreach programs are conducted by registered nurses and social work staff. MCC provides staples consisting of a 3 to 5 day supply of food. In addition, we provide diapers and formula to at-risk infants, as well as supplemental commodity boxes for targeted elderly and eligible women with children. Notably, the pantry provides culturally appropriate food to Hmong, Lao and Latino families – all while communicating in their native languages. As a Choice Food Pantry offering culturally appropriate food, clients choose items to take home instead of receiving a box of pre-selected food. Pantry may be used no more than every 30 days. Client must have a photo ID, proof of current address, and proof of family size (e.g., ID, social security card, forward card, etc.). A current WIC book or birth certificate is required for infant formula.
