4 main steps for writing IELTS Step 1: Spend first 10 minutes to read the question carefully, Identify the topic (health, education, family, sports….) and its category (discuss, opinion..) and makes sure you understand what it is asking you to do (discuss both view and give your opinion…) Step 2: spend next 5 minutes writing the introduction: 2 sentence, the first sentence paraphrase the topic, the second one answers the question. Step 3: Spend next 20 minutes writing two- three body paragraphs (7-10 minutes each paragraph) Step 4: Spend the last 5 minutes writing a quick conclusion then check your works
