ROUND-UP, EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATION, &
SHARE THE FUN These contests are conducted annually at the County, District, and State levels. Method demonstrations are planned presentations prepared by an individual or team of 4-H members and presented to groups with the use of posters and demonstration materials. These presentations should relate information the 4-H member has learned through work. Simply stated, these are ways of “showing and telling” others how to make or do something and shar-ing useful information. Subject divisions for Method Demon-stration include companion animals, clothing, foods, health, beef, family life, horse, poultry, sheep & goats, electric en-ergy, safety, and an open class. Share the Fun is a short 5 to 6 minute skit, song, or dance to provide for social, cultural and leadership development of the 4-H Youth. 4-H members participate in Method Demonstrations and Share the Fun routines as a fun way to learn to speak and interact in front of people and develop their own leadership skills and positive self-concepts. Also through this participation 4-H members develop knowledge and skills in several projects and subject matter areas. Age Requirements: County & District: 9 or in the 3rd grade—19 State: 9th grade—19 ENROLL TODAY AT: https://texas.4honline.com
