Accessibility is a major issue for people with mobilityimpairments, but the concept of universal design cancreate more opportunities for participation in society.Universal design is inclusive; it sees people withdisabilities, older people and children, as part of - notdistinct from - society.
that all public institutions must have a ramp tofacilitate access for the disabled. , at least in the case ofpublic transport.
most of the people who work with the disabled arewomen. Their caring nature may be the reason. thereshould be some public support for these people. Butthe wider society was not readily helpful.

many children who have physical disabilities are notmentally disabled. There should be proper teachers atthe centre. However, the centre seems unable tomanage the number of people needed. There aresimply not enough teachers.
there are children with cerebral palsy and those withDownes Syndrome. They need special attention butinstead of specialists the centre must use the ordinary
people who simply make themselves available to helpthese disabled people.

I would conclude my presentations by citing the wordsof the famous scientist Stephen Hawking, "I am quite
often asked: How do you feel about havingALS? The answer is, not a lot. I try to lead asnormal a life as possible, and not think aboutmy condition, or regret the things it preventsme from doing, which are not that many."
And this is what should be the aim of Rehabilitation for
the welfare of the Disabled-to make them feel as normalas any other in the society!
