4-day recitation festivals begins at JU

A four day recitation festivals, organised by Jahangirnagar University based unique recitation organisation Dhony, begins on Monday at the campus.

The four day programme is featured by presentation of poet, honored the prominent persons and the reunion of the organisation.

The festivals began through the hosting of national flag and presentation of Kazi Nazrul Islams poem with the direction of Dilsad Ibna Baki also the current president of Dhony.The members of the organisation also presented the poem while noted poet Maskur-A-Sattar Kallol and Balayet Hossain also performed on the opening day of the festivals.

With the direction of Mahidul Islalm Sorcitro a cultural organisation presented poem yesterday while Prof.Dr Bassor Bhandapaddoy was awarded by Dhony.

The programme will conclude through the reunion of the organisation tomorrow while open recitation poem programme is scheduled to be held today.
