1.  Entries  must  be  accompanied  by  FULL  PAYMENT  in  order  to  be  processed.  2.  Enter  complete  registration  names  and  #s  of  each  horse  including  sires,  dams,  &  dates  of  birth!

TBA Classes The  IaAHA  tries  to  offer  classes  that  meet  the  needs  of  our  members  and  exhibitors.  There  are  limited  number  of  TBA  Class  spots.  Those  classes  will  be  filled  and  time  slots  will  be  chosen  on  a  first  come/first  serve  basis  along  with  payment  of  fees.  Choosing  to  hold  the  class  requires  a  $75  sponsorship  fee  and  the  regular  entry  fee.  Post  entry  fees  will  NOT  be  charged  for  TBA  classes.  It  is  recommended  that  you  request  your  class  and  time  slot  preference  with  your  pre-­entries  since  there  is  a  limited  number  of  TBA  Classes.  Note  the  class  slots  will  not  be  moved  around  in  the  schedule.  Choose  Any  Class  listed  in  the  2019 AHA Standard Class List EXCEPT:  Trail,  Working  Western,  Western  Dressage,  Dressage,  Hunter  Over  Fences,  or  Sport  Horse.

SPECIAL SHOW INFORMATION    1.  .  ALL  ENTRIES  CLOSE  AUGUST  14,  2019.  Entries  must  be  postmarked  by  AUGUST  2nd  to  avoid  paying  post  entry  fees  on  your  Gold  Star  Futurity  Entries  and  Fall  Classic  Entries.  Any  Gold  Star  class  entered  after  entry  deadline  is  required  to  pay  a  $50  post  entry  fee  per  class,  even  if  you  have  pre-­entered  a  different  Gold  Star  Class.      2.  Entries  must  be  PAID  IN  FULL  for  BOTH  SHOWS    no open checks  will  be  accepted.  We  will  accept  Visa,  Mastercard,  Am  Express  or  Discover  for  your  convenience.    4.  PRIZE  CHECKS.  Gold  Star  Futurity  checks  will  be  mailed  once  payout  is  calculated  from  entries.  If  you  do  not  receive  your  check,  please  contact  Earleen  Walter  (515)  223-­9573  or  [email protected].  All  checks  MUST  be  cashed  no  more  than  60  days  after  received.  If  you  do  not  receive  your  check,  it  is  your  responsibility  to  contact  the  show  manager  no  more  than  60  days  after  completion  of  the  show  or  all  prize  money  shall  be  forfeited.  The  recorded  horse  owner  must  have  a  w-­9  on  file  to  before  prize  money  will  be  mailed.    5.  STALLS.  We  ask  that  all  stall  reservations  be  called  in  EARLY.  All  stalls  reserved  will  be  billed  unless  stall  reservations  are  cancelled  by  August  20,  2019!    6.  FARRIER  PERMIT.    An  official  Show  Farrier  will  be  available  on  the  grounds.  No  other  farrier  will  be  permitted  to  work  on  the  grounds  without  registering  for  a  permit  and  paying  a  $300  fee  at  the  show  office  prior  to  working  on  the  grounds.    7.  MEMBERSHIP.  All  owners  of  Iowa  Gold  Star  Futurity  horses  shown  must  be  AT  LEAST  an  Affiliate  Member  of  the  Iowa  Arabian  Horse  Association  (IaAHA).  Please  note  that  Membership  runs  through  the  calendar  year  and  will  expire  on  1/1/20.  Please  remember  to  renew  membership  again  in  December  to  be  eligible  to  show  in  2020.    8.  HOOF  BLACK.  Current  USEF  and  AHA  rules  will  be  followed.  Horses  wearing  hoof  black  will  be  disqualified  (halter  only).    9.  HALF  ARABIAN  IOWA  GOLD  STAR  FUTURITY  HALTER  CLASSES:  The  Yearling  Futurity  Classes  will  be  run  as  one  class  and  NOT  split  into  STOCK  TYPE  and  SADDLE  TYPE.      10.  ARRIVAL  TIME.  Stalls  will  be  available  at  8:00AM  Thursday,  August  29th,  2019.    No  horses  will  be  allowed  before  specified  time.  If  you  want  to  come  in  earlier  to  set-­up  we  must  arrange  special  permission.  Stall  assignments  will  be  posted  outside  the  Horse  Barn  Office  located  at  the  northeast  corner  of  the  Horse  barn  in  Aisle  A.    PLEASE  DO  NOT  STALL  ANY  HORSE  UNLESS  A  STALL  HAS  BEEN  ASSIGNED.  The  earliest  bedding  will  be  available  is  Thursday  at  8:00  a.m.  Make  your  reservations  EARLY  to  avoid  separation.  Please  call  in  your  stall  reservations  to  include  BOTH  the  Futurity  show  AND  the  Fall  Classic  show.  If  you  are  not  going  to  use  a  stall  you  have  previously  reserved,  you  must  cancel  those  stall  reservations  by  AUGUST  20th,  2019.    11.  DEPARTURE  TIME.  All  horses  and  equipment  must  be  removed  from  the  Iowa  State  Fairgrounds  by  8:00  AM  on  Monday,  Sept  2nd,  2019.  Anyone  planning  a  late  departure  must  make  arrangements  with  the  Barn  Manager.   12.  LOCATION:  The  Iowa  State  Fairgrounds  are  located  at  the  corner  of  East  30th  and  East  Grand  Ave,  Des  Moines,  Iowa.  

From  Eastern  Iowa  on  I-­80  take  Exit  141,  travel  south  on  Hwy.  65  to  Exit  79  and  go  west  on  Hwy  163  (University  Ave)  Approximately  three  miles  on  University  Ave  to  the  Fairgrounds.  

From  I-­235,  exit  at  Iowa  State  Fairgrounds  Exit.  Follow  the  signs  to  the  Fairgrounds,  and  enter  through  the  East  University  Avenue  gate  at  East  33rd  Street.  

 13.  CAMPING:  The  Iowa  State  Fair  Campground  Season  will  be  open  at  the  time  of  this  show.  In  addition,  there  are  a  limited  number  of  camper  hookups  (electricity  only)  available  in  the  area  located  south  of  the  grounds  in  the  trailer  lot  across  from  Gate  8.  All  camping  arrangements  and  fees  are  to  be  handled  through  the  Iowa  State  Fair  Security  Personnel  on  premise.  Rates  vary  in  other  camping  areas  on  the  Fairgrounds.    14.  NO  VET  OUTS  FOR  IOWA  GOLD  STAR  FUTURITY  ENTRIES.  There  will  be  no  refunds  for  entries  received  for  the  Iowa  Gold  Star  Futurity  Show.      

15.  POST  ENTRIES  WILL  BE  ACCEPTED.  All  entries  for  the  Iowa  Gold  Star  classes  are  an  additional  $50  per  class  after  August  14,  2019.  Horses  entered  prior  to  the  deadline  are  NOT  EXEMPT  from  this  fee.  All  post  class  entries  must  be  made  at  least  one  hour  before  the  start  of  the  session  in  which  the  class  will  be  held.  A  $35  post  entry  fee  will  be  charged  for  Fall  Classic  late  entries.

IOWA ARABIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION GOVERNING RULES & REGULATIONS (REVISED 2012)

Rules and Regulations are established for the fair, equitable and efficient management of the Iowa Arabian Horse Association shows, complying with the requirements of both United States Equestrian Federation and the Arabian Horse Association, both bodies having approved the holding of this show. The show management reserves the right to make such changes in procedure, personnel and Rules & Regulations not governed by USEF and/or AHA as determined to be in the best interest of the Show. By your entry, you agree you are familiar with Governing Rules and Regulations and agree to abide with them. RULE 1 USEF RULE: EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. Any changes in the USEF rules will automatically become a part of this Premium Book.

USE Federation Entry Agreement By entering an USE Federation-recognized Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent, Coach, Driver, Rider, or Handler and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives, employees and agents, I agree

e competition. I agree to be bound by the Constitution and Rules of the USEF and of the competition. I will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, the Federation, their officials, directors and employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participate under the rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the Federation and/or the competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cablecasts, or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of the Federation Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the USEF must be filed in New York State. See Art. 1502.5. REVERSE SIDE OF THE ENTRY FORM MUST BE SIGNED. RULE 2 INDEMNITY & NON-RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSES: All entries are accepted with the understanding that the Iowa Arabian Horse Association, Inc., nor their officers, directors, employees, volunteers or members, the Arabian Horse Association, the USE Federation,and the Iowa Equestrian Center will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to any horse exhibited or any other article of any kind. AHA & USEF WAIVERS. Waivers are on the reverse of entry form. The signatures of OWNER, TRAINER, RIDER, HANDLER and COACH indicate the signee(s) have read and agree to the terms, conditions, waivers and release contained there. Entries will NOT be accepted without ALL required signatures. All horses shall be under the control and direction of the Show Management but solely at the risk of exhibitor, who will be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to any person, animal, or property occasioned by him, his agents or employees, or by any animal owned or exhibited by him, and shall indemnify the Iowa Arabian Horse Association, Inc., nor their officers, directors, employees, volunteers or members, the Arabian Horse Association, Inc., and the Iowa State Fairgrounds against any and all loss, damages and liability thus occasioned, including but not limited to any and all legal costs, including attorney fees, which may be incurred as a result thereof. The submitting of any entry form to the Show Secretary shall constitute an acceptance of each person signing same of the provisions herein set forth. RULE 3 EXHIBITOR NON-MEMBER FEES: (A) AHA FEES: Current Competition Level Membership is required for all owners, trainers, drivers, riders or handlers or pay a single event member fee of $35.00 per person, to be included with entry fee. (Exception: Walk-Trot and Lead Line) Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a show pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. RULE 4 OWNERSHIP/MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Ownership of a horse is determined by the owner as it appears on the

copied, both sides of the entry form MUST be copied. PHOTOCOPIES REQUIRED TO BE SENT IN WITH ENTRIES:(1) Horse registration papers - BOTH FRONT AND BACK, (2) Current AHA membership card. Persons who are not members MUST PAY A SINGLE EVENT MEMBER FEE OF $35.00 PER HORSE. Note, that AHA & USEF Affidavits will no longer be accepted. (3) Current USEF membership card with Amateur Certification, if applicable. Otherwise, a show pass fee of $45.00 must be paid. USEF membership applications will be available at the show office for persons wishing to join at the show. (4) Anyone desiring to meet AHA membership requirement at the show by joining the Iowa Arabian Horse Association may do so by requesting membership on the entry form or at the show office. (5) Horses enfamily as defined by USEF GR122. (Horses registered in a farm/ ranch/ syndicate/ partnership/ corporation may be shown in Amateur Owner Classes provided the family is the sole owner of the farm or entity as defined by USEF GR122. The sale of a horse does not eliminate this registration requirement. Contracts of sale or bills of sale will not be accepted for Amateur classes as defined by USEF.

RULE 5 FALL CLASSIC LATE ENTRY CHARGES: Entries postmarked after midnight of established closing date and not received by the established receipt date, will be charged LATE CHARGE of $35.00 per horse. Metered postmarks are not accepted. Full payment of entries, including stalls, must accompany mailing in order to be processed. RULE 6 STALLS MAY BE RESERVED BY PAYMENT OF STALL FEES IN ADVANCE: Stalls will be assigned on a first paid, first served basis, taking number of stalls into consideration. Payments of stall fees in advance only reserves the number of stalls paid for BUT DOES NOT ELIMINATE POST ENTRY FEE PER HORSE unless entries with full payment accompanies stall requests. STALL FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE whether they are used or not. Excess stalls should be reported to the Barn Manager and if the stall is sold, credit will be allowed ONLY if all other stalls have been sold, even though Barn Manager has the option to use stalls released as excess. BARN MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE TO DETERMINE ALL STALL ASSIGNMENTS AND ALLOWANCE OF STALL REFUNDS, IF ANY. NO STALLS ASSIGNED TO YOU CAN BE USED BY ANOTHER EXHIBITOR WITHOUT CONSENT OF THE BARN MANAGER. Exhibitors wishing to be stalled together should send their entries in together and/or send a complete list naming those exhibitors who wish to be stalled together. The Show Committee reserves the right to limit tack stalls to 1 for every 3 horses if it becomes necessary, WITHOUT NOTIFICATION PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. Note: Portable stalling must be used when numbers of entries requires additional stalls. Note: Horses will not be allowed to show out of a trailer. They must have an assigned stall. RULE 7 BEDDING: Bedding IS NOT INCLUDED in the price of a stall. Bedding will be available on the grounds. Pre-order your bags with Rick Ackerson. RULE 8 ARRIVAL TIME: Stalls will be available at 8:00 am Thursday, August 29th. Anyone arriving before specified time must make arrangements with the Barn Manager. Stall assignments will be posted outside the Barn Office located at the northeast corner of the Horse barn in Aisle A. PLEASE DO NOT STALL ANY HORSE UNLESS A STALL HAS BEEN ASSIGNED. Stalling will be very limited!! Unassigned horses must be checked in with the Barn Manager before being stalled and no horses may switch stalls without knowledge and consent of the Barn Manager. The earliest bedding will be available is Thursday at 8:00 am. Make your reservations EARLY to avoid separation. Please call in your stall reservations to include BOTH the Futurity show AND the Fall Classic show. If you are not going to use a stall you have previously reserved, you must cancel those stall reservations by AUGUST 20th, 2019 or you WILL BE BILLED FOR THE STALLS RESERVED NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 RULE 9 DEPARTURE TIME: All horses and equipment must be VACATED from the Iowa State Fairgrounds by 8:00 am on Monday, Sept 2, 2019. Anyone planning a late departure must make arrangements with the Barn Manager, and will be charged $20.00 per day per horse. RULE 10 SHOW OFFICE HOURS: Show office will open no later than 3:00pm on Friday and remain open no later than 9:00pm. Each day of the show, the show office will open for business one hour before the start of the show and will close from time to time during the show and will be open no later than one half hour after the last class of the day, unless otherwise announced. Exhibitors are encouraged to report to the show office promptly to pick up show packets, correct any pending items, or make entries. Post entries should be made ASAP. It would be appreciated if your class entries were made as follows 8:00pm for next morning classes 11:00am for afternoon classes 3:00pm for evening classes Show office MUST be advised promptly of entry changes/cancellations. RULE 11 BARN OFFICE TELEPHONE: There is no phone in the show office that takes incoming calls. Only outgoing calls may be made. There is a public phone that you can make out going calls on just outside the show office. RULE 12 REFUNDS FOR IOWA FALL CLASSIC CLASS ENTRIES ONLY will be made upon presentation to the show secretary (deliverthe close of the show. All refunds will be made by mail within 30 days of day of show closing. Vet Outs occurring for the IaAHA Fall Classic show will only receive class fees refunded for the classes they had to vet out and they cannot re-enter the show. Stall fees and office fees are NOT refundable. RULE 13 PRIZE MONEY: All Gold Star prize checks will be MAILED within after the completion of the show. If you do not receive your check, it is your responsibility to contact the show treasurer no more than 60 days after completion of the show or all prize money shall be forfeited. RULE 14 CALL FOR CLASSES/GATE HOLDS: Classes will be called promptly by the announcer. There will be 3 calls for classes, whenever possible; the first two calls will be made at reasonable intervals. The third call will be made while ribbons are being awarded in the preceding class; exception, the FIRST CLASS of each session should be at the gate at the scheduled time for commencement of the session. TWO MINUTES will be allowed after the first horse enters the ring THIS RULE WILL BE ENFORCED WITHOUT EXCEPTION. When tack changes are necessary, it is the exhibifor a THREE MINUTE HOLD which may be allowed provided the gate is notified at least one class in advance which permits proper notification to ringmaster and center ring. Exhibitors requesting a hold must notify gate promptly when tack change has been completed so class can enter ring without further unnecessary delay. CALL FOR CLASSES MUST BE CONSIDERED A COURTESY. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to be certain his horse is at the gate at the prescribed time. All scratches must be reported to the Show Office or Gate before the beginning of the class. If scratches are not reported, an improper scratch fee may be imposed. RULE 15 CLASS SPECIFICATIONS: Leveling Classes: Please refer to AHA (www.arabianhorses.org) to determine if you qualify for select rider classes. RULE 16 IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS: Every horse entered in the show will be assigned an identification number and it is important for the proper handling of the show that the correct number be worn by riders and handlers when the horse is being shown. Any exhibitor using a wrong number or having no number may be excused or

 RULE 17 DIVISION OF IOWA FALL CLASSIC CLASSES: The Show Management reserves the right to split any class which they or the judge may determine has too many entries for all horses to be properly or safely shown in the ring at the same time; effort will be made to announce the division in sufficient time in advance of the class, designating the horse numbers to be shown in each division. Split classes will be held as two separate classes. Each section receives ribbons and trophies. Each section will qualify for Regionals and Championship classes. RULE 18 ADMISSION TO SHOW RING: No person will be permitted to enter the show ring except participants in the scheduled class, their assistants, and the show officials. Attendants will not be permitted in the ring until summoned by order of the judge or ringmaster. RULE 19 SHOWING OF STALLIONS: Stallions may be shown by ladies or junior exhibitors in all classes, except Showmanship at halter and any class for children 10 and under. RULE 20 EQUITATION: All classes shall be conducted in accordance with the USEF Rules as modified by the Arabian Horse Association. AHA Medal rules are found in the current AHA Handbook which may be obtained by writing AHA, 10805 East Bethany Dr., Aurora, CO 80014-2605. RULE 21 WHIPS: NO ITEM MAY BE USED INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE RING WHILE SHOWING A HORSE, EXCEPT ONE

DAGES OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED. HARNESS CLASSES ARE EXCEPTED. EXCESSIVE OR IMPROPER USE OF WHIP SHALL BE A BASIS FOR DISQUALIFICATION. WHIPS ARE PROHIBITED IN REGIONAL AND NATIONAL DRESSAGE CLASSES.

THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED CRUELTY TO OR THE ABUSE OF A HORSE BY ANY PERSON AT A RECOGNIZED SHOW IS FORBIDDEN. EXCESSIVE USE OF A WHIP ON ANY HORSE IN A STALL, RUNWAY, SCHOOLING AREA, SHOW RING, OR ELSEWHERE ON THE SHOW GROUNDS, BEFORE OR DURING THE SHOW, BY ANY PERSON, CONSTITUTES A VIOLATION AND RENDERS THE OFFENDER SUBJECT TO PENALTY AND DISMISSAL. RULE 22 DOGS: All dogs MUST be confined to a leash at all times. No dogs will be allowed in the Show Arena at any time. RULE 23 SHOW TABS: Any exhibitor wishing to start a tab for Post Entries only will be required to leave a signed check made payable to the Iowa Gold Star Futurity with the understanding the check will be completed by the Show Office in the amount of the tab unless the exhibitor closes out the account with the Office prior to the close of the show. FOR YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE, we suggest that you not wait until the close of the show but audit your show tab and make settlement at the earliest possible time to avoid delays. Premium checks will be mailed. RULE 24 CLASS SCRATCHES IOWA - FALL CLASSIC ONLY: ALL scratches must be reported to the show office or gate person before the beginning of the class. If scratches are not reported a $10.00 NO SHOW fee will be assessed per class. RULE 25 COMMUNICATION DEVICES: Use of any electronic/radio communication devices is prohibited when in visual contact with the show ring during the show by anyone other than appropriate show committee members and Fairgrounds personnel, except as allowed by USEF. Radios that interfere with radio communication between show office, gate/paddock manager and center ring will not be allowed. RULE 26 SHOW FACILITY INFORMATION: Warm- vilion has sand footing. All Stalls have doors and are under cover. Portable stalling with doors must be used when numbers of entries requires additional stalls. RULE 27 BREEDING IN-HAND & GELDING IN-HAND CLASSES & CHAMPIONSHIPS: Exhibitors showing yearlings and weanlings are encouraged to read the appropriate USEF and AHA rules & regulations. You may show yearlings in Junior Championship classes, but not in Grand & Reserve Championship classes. Exception: PB or HA yearling geldings may compete for Champion Gelding. All Halter classes will be run using the Comparative Judging System. RULE 28 RETURNED CHECKS: Checks returned for any reason and declined credit cards will be assessed an additional $50.00 fee per incident. If restitution is not made in under 60 days an additional $100 fee will be assessed. Failure to rectify insufficient funds shall result in appropriate action taken with USEF and AHA, and payer will be barred from taking place in any IaAHA show until final settlement is made. IaAHA reserves the right to require certified funds from any individual that has had a check returned to the Iowa Gold Star Futurity or IaAHA. RULE 29 DEFINITIONS: Specification for Maiden, Novice, and Limit Maiden: A horse or rider that has NOT earned 1 Blue Ribbon in a particular discipline Novice: A horse or rider that has NOT earned 3 Blue Ribbons in a particular discipline Limit: A horse or rider that has NOT earned 6 Blue Ribbons in a particular discipline Rule 30 NO SHOW RULE: To expedite the flow of classes, scratches must be reported to the Show Office or Gate before the beginning of the class. Rule 31 MOTORIZED VEHICLE which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a

RULE 33 - USEF GR845 Equine Vaccination Rule: At Federation licensed competitions, horses entering the grounds must be accompanied by documentation of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the competition grounds upon request by Competition Management. Documentation should consist of one of the following methods mentioned below. The

In the case of vaccines administered by a veterinarian, the exhibitor, upon request by Competition Management, must provide documentation from the veterinarian on documenting that the horse in question received the vaccinations; name of the vaccines and date of vaccine administration. 3. In the case of a horse that is unable to receive either of the vaccinations due to a history of adverse reactions, the exhibitor, upon request by Competition Management, must provide a letter from the veterinarian on official letterhead stating that the horse in question cannot be vaccinated due to medical concerns and a log of temperatures taken twice daily for the seven days prior to entering the competition grounds. These horses must also have their temperature taken and logged twice daily while on the competition grounds. The log of temperatures should be provided to the Competition Management, steward, or technical delegate when requested. 5. Competition Management may not ame Stick Horse Class Specifications: To be shown in any appropriate attire, enter the ring the first direction at a walk. To be shown at a walk, trot (or jog) both directions of the arena. Judge may ask exhibitors to back individually or as a group from the lineup. Judged on manners, ingenuity of entry, and smiles. No age limit on this class and horse must be an appropriate for the exhibitor. Jackpot Challenge English Classes - Jackpot classes for 3- & 4-year-old English and Western Pleasure prospects. The classes will run with AHA/USEF Junior horse specs, with the addition that they have the option to show in a snaffle and martingale. Country English or English Pleasure Horses may enter the class. These is a non-qualifying class. Entry fees will be $75. Entry fees will be Jack-potted. This is a non-qualifying class. Jackpot Challenge Western Pleasure Classes Jackpot classes for 3- & 4-year-old Western Pleasure prospects. The classes will run with AHA/USEF Western Pleasure Jr horse specs. This is a non-qualifying class. Entry fees will be $75. Entry fees will be Jack-potted. This is a non-qualifying class. UPHA CHALLENGE CUP: Open to all saddle seat equitation riders, 17 years of age and under, riding a mare or gelding of ANY BREED. Judging is based 60% on rail work and 40% on the individual workout. The top four riders of all qualifying classes (except 10/under walk/trot), must be worked individually; more may be worked at the judges discretion. Mandatory workout in all qualifying

LEAD-LINE 2-6 YEARS: Open to riders who are at least two (2) years of age and have not yet reached their seventh (7th) birthday as of December 1 of the preceding year. Leaders must be at least fourteen (14) years of age. Stallions are prohibited. See AHA 1238. Arabian & Half-Arabian Mounted Native Costume - Class will run using AHA/USEF class specs. Entry fees will be Jack-potted. This is a non-qualifying class.

WALK/TROT CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES

WALK/TROT PLEASURE & EQUITATION: Will be judged according to EQ 118.8. Open to riders 10 years old and under. A rider must have never been judged in a class at a USEF Recognized Competition that required a canter or lope. Stallions are prohibited.
