He, she , it forms of the simple present are different from other forms;

The affirmative form of the verb always finishes with “s” or “es”;

General ruleJust add “s”after the verb

e.g.: work – works want – wants Live- Lives

I work here – He works hereYou want soda – she wants sodaWe live here – It lives here

VERBS ENDING IN O, CH, SH, SS AND X, ADD: -ES

e.g.: go – goes Watch – watches Wash – washes Kiss – kisses Fix – fixes

Verbs ending in a consonant + y, cut y and add: - ies.

EXCEPTION:THE VERB HAVE * HasHe has two brothers.
