Gary Silberg is the Americas Head of Automotive, KPMG (U.S), as well as the Global Lead Partner for Ford Motor Company. With 25+ years of business experience, including over 15 years in the automotive industry, he advises numerous domestic and multinational companies in areas of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.

Gary provides media commentary on global trends in the automotive industry, including several appearances on CNBC Squawk Box, Bloomberg TV and other media interviews including The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Forbes, Bloomberg, CNN Money, Outlook Business of India, China Auto and Yomiuri Shimbun of Japan.

For the past eight years he has focused on the intersection of technology and the automotive industry with groundbreaking research on self-driving cars, connectivity, and mobility demand services. Most recently he has authored Autonomy Delivers: An oncoming revolution in the movement of goods; Islands of Autonomy: How autonomous vehicles will emerge in cities around the world; and The Clockspeed dilemma.

He leads and moderates the annual M&A and Economic Forum held in conjunction with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a speaker and chair of the yearly Automotive Share Forum, conducted in parallel with the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and Los Angeles. Nicole Stevenson is the VP Strategy & Marketing at Flex Automotive reporting to the President. She leads strategy, M&A, partnerships & investments, marketing, communications and market intelligence for the company’s global automotive business segment. Nicole joined Flex in June of 2012 as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives. Among many of her projects thus far includes outlining an inorganic growth strategy which resulted in 3 successful multi-million dollar acquisitions and several technology partnerships.

Nicole began her career at AlliedSignal Corporation as an engineer. She spent over fifteen years in a variety of positions at large Tier 1 & 2 automotive suppliers with increasing responsibility in engineering, business development, strategy, and marketing. In her most recent role prior to joining Flex, Nicole spent 3+ years at Meritor (a $4B leading Commercial Truck component supplier) initially as Director of Corporate Strategy then leading the marketing team for the NA Commercial Truck Business Unit.

Nicole earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and a MBA from Oakland University with a focus in Entrepreneurship. She has also completed multiple executive education courses including a Flex sponsored executive leadership program at Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) in 2016.

Amee Chande is a global executive with deep experience in the consumer and digital sectors. As Chief Commercial Officer at Waymo, she is responsible for building a strong commercial business, overseeing the Strategy, Corporate Development, Partnerships and Operations functions.

Prior to joining Waymo, she was with Alibaba Group where she led globalisation initiatives. Amee has also held a number of senior roles at global retailers including Tesco, Staples and Wal-Mart. She began her career as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company.

In addition to her executive roles, Amee is a Non-Executive Director of BBA Plc, on the advisory board of Livingbridge Private Equity, and an active volunteer with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

Amee holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Having grown up in Canada, she enjoys outdoor pursuits such as camping and kayaking. Amee recently relocated from London UK to California with her daughter.

Prior to Flex, Raejeanne was Vice President in the Data Center Group & General Manager of the Cloud Service Provider Platform Group at Intel Corporation. She was responsible for managing Intel’s business, roadmap and customer engagements for public cloud infrastructure deployments. She lead the team responsible for working closely with the world’s largest cloud service providers to optimize Intel’s data center solutions for their unique needs. During her tenure as General Manager, Raejeanne grew Intel’s cloud business to $10 billion. Prior to her last role, she was responsible for creating new business opportunities, developing and optimizing products, and establishing industry thought leadership for Intel’s Big Data and Cloud Computing segment. Earlier in her Intel career, Raejeanne held various leadership roles in product marketing, strategic analysis, demand creation, and business development.

Scott is a Principal in KPMG’s Strategy group, leads the firm’s Semiconductor Practice for Advisory and has nearly 20 years of experience working with semiconductor and other high tech companies. He began his career at Intel in finance and later became a program manager in the Enterprise Product Group. After departing Intel he covered the Semiconductor sector at JPMorgan for the #1 ranked equity research team on Wall Street. Later he joined AlixPartners to lead their Semiconductor Practice and the Digital Transformation for the Technology, Media and Telecom sector.

Scott is recognized as a thought leader in the Semiconductor industry with a series of publications on R&D Efficiency, Portfolio Management and Operations. He has also led numerous panels and delivered presentations on advanced technology topics such as 3D/2.5D TSV, EUV, 3D NAND, and AI at industry and client events.

He has worked with a large group of clients across the high-tech landscape including: Intel, Qualcomm, GlobalFoundries, ARM, Western Digital, Xilinx, Lam Research, VMware, HP Enterprise, Microsemi, Allegro Microsystems, Microchip Technologies, KKR, CVC, Veritas Capital, One Equity Partners and others.

Alessandro Norscia is the Senior Director of Product Management for Intel’s Automated Driving Solutions Division. Alessandro’s organization defines advanced driver assist systems and autonomous driving solutions product roadmaps and partners closely with ODMs, Tier 1s and OEMs to bring these comprehensive in-vehicle platforms to market.

Prior to joining Intel, Alessandro was the Product Management Director of Qualcomm’s Automotive Wi-Fi and Bluetooth products for Infotainment and Telematics in the Connected Car. Before working in the automotive space, he held various leadership positions at Qualcomm and Infineon in Product Management, Product Marketing and Business Development in the Voice Communications, Broadband and Consumer Electronics markets. In the early part of his 20-year career, Alessandro also worked in start-up environments and in Technical Sales and Marketing roles at AMD.

John Eggert has more than 25 years of international experience in program management and sales and marketing management of cutting-edge products for the automotive industry, starting during the early days of airbag crash sensing. His interest in the trends and technologies upending the automotive industry led him to Velodyne LiDAR in 2015, the inventor of high-definition 3D LiDAR for automated vehicles. As the Automotive Sales and Marketing Director of the leading supplier in the AV space, John has the unique opportunity to discuss and witness first-hand the perception strategies of almost every AV developer in the world and is excited about the safety, economic and quality-of-life cases that high-definition LiDAR enables.

As Sr. Director of Automotive Sales and Marketing for NXP Semiconductors, Jan-Philipp Gehrmann brings a wealth of automotive market and technology expertise to traditional and emerging carmakers and new mobility startups in Silicon Valley. He leads sales, business development and application engineering teams focused on collaboration with new market entrants to advance the industry towards connectivity and infotainment, partial and fully automated driving, and electrification. Previously, Jan-Philipp led the global strategy and product management for NXP’s car infotainment and driver assistance business in Hamburg, Germany. Prior to this, he was a field marketing manager in Greater China where he planned and introduced new car infotainment products. He started his career at Philips Semiconductors in the automotive division. He holds an MBA with Distinction from IE Business School Madrid and a Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Business Management from Nordakademie University of Applied Sciences, Elmshorn, Germany.

Liz Kerton has built a career helping new technologies break through. Building on 15 years’ experience building marketing programs for telecom companies and launching new services, new product lines, and even new companies, she founded Telecom Council, Autotech Council, and IoT Forum. Each member-based community introduces relevant startups, entrepreneurs, and new technologies to tech scouts, vendors, and investors looking for innovation and partnership.

In her work with the Autotech Council—a community of automotive and mobility executives focused on innovation—100 auto makers and their vendors meet monthly to review visionary entrepreneurs, discover startups, build partnerships, and support innovation in mobility. Over the past 5 years, the Autotech Council has introduced over 500 mobility startups and been instrumental in helping dozens of them raise funding, get to market, and put technology and business partnerships in place.

Liz was named one of Silicon Valley’s Most Influential Women according to the San Jose Business Journal in 2012, was inducted into the TU Automotive Hall of Fame in 2017, and supports women’s entrepreneurship. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Japanese, studied at Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po), and has a MA in Diplomacy from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

At DeepScale, Kyle leads business development and partnership efforts with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and other strategic partners. DeepScale develops perception software for assisted and autonomous driving and specializes in efficient deployment of accurate deep neural networks.

Prior to DeepScale, he managed corporate strategy and M&A at U.S. Silica (NYSE: SLCA), a leading supplier of industrial minerals, and had prior experience in strategy consulting with Deloitte Consulting, where he advised multiple Fortune 500 clients. Kyle began his career as an equity and commodity derivatives trader at Belvedere Trading, a proprietary investment fund based in Chicago.

Kyle has an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.

Bert Fransis has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, holding leading roles in R&D, product line management, product marketing and strategy. Prior to joining Arbe, Bert has held senior management roles in product marketing and strategy at Global Foundries, Atmel (acquired by Microchip) and Amalfi Semiconductor (acquired by Qorvo). Prior to that, he co-founded, built and led the chip development team of RF Magic, a company that went public on Nasdaq in 2007. Bert holds a MBA degree from IE business School/NYU Stern and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven (Belgium).

At Arbe, Bert and the team work towards making autonomous driving a reality, developing a proprietary imaging radar to provide real-time 4D mapping in high resolution. As the winner of the Winner of Frost and Sullivan’s “Global Technology Innovation” award as well as the “Most Innovative ADAS Technology” award from Tech.AD, Arbe continues to innovate and be at the top of the real-time 4D mapping game.

Rony most recently served as the EVP of Sales and Business Development for IXI Mobile. Prior to this Rony was the Director of Strategic Investment for Intel where he had the worldwide responsibility for equity and acquisition deal sources in the wireless segment for Intel Capital. Before working for Intel, he was the VP of Sales and Marketing for DSP Communications where he was instrumental in the sale of DSPC to Intel.
