Asthere are no applicable standards fortesting earmuffs against electricalinsulating properties, the producthas been evaluated at an externallaboratory against a modified testmethod based on EN397:1995. Dur-ing assessment, the leakage currentdid not exceed 1.2mA when the ex-ternal surface of the product madecontact with an electrical source. Theuser must determine the overall suit-ability of this product for the in-tended application taking intoaccount any hazards other thannoise for which this product is tested.
